Dr. Mundo Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello fellow mobafire users! This guide focuses on champions that can play in the mid lane and build attack damage despite being designed as tanks, bruisers, or juggernauts. This works because not only does it surprise the enemy, the champions I have chosen have abilities that can easily be used against other midlaners (not Mundo, he's just the sustain god.)
Mundo midlane is played by farming and harrassing with cleavers, and completely destroying anyone who tries to jump on you with q+e. The slow on cleavers may be enough to give you a kill.
Garen is an extremely strong pusher with his e, his q can silence foes and catch them, his w can be used to negate important damage such as zed ultimates, lux ultimates, and others.
Lee Sin is an extremely strong assassin in levels 3-11, and transitions smoothly into the late game with his game changing ultimate and Insec combos. An easy way to get the same result as an Insec without actually needing to Insec someone for whatever reason (no wards, don't trust your skills, etc.) is to ult and whilst that ult animation is going flash on the opposite side of them you want them to go. The ult will finish where you flash.
Olaf is a very strong midlaner because of the damage and slow on his q, the true damage on his e, and to a lesser extent, the attack speed increase on his w. Picture this: Olaf uses q, he catches up because of the slow, he autos the enemy, and uses e. Thunderlords is procced, and he uses tiamat. If that combo alone isn't enough to convince you, consider that his ultimate stops ALL forms of cc, gives him increased move speed whilst going towards enemies and extra attack damage.
