Hello, its nice to see another non standard build, im fan of such and eve in particular. The idea for tank eve is not good tho, i tried doing it with several gear/mastery choices, but can never achieve what i rly want. It can only work in non competitive games or lower ranked brackets. Buying health, armor and resistance items does not turn a champion into tank. What it requires is a toolkit of abilities Eve do not possess. She needs a set of items and masteries to have reliable damage. Her only defensive ability is Agony's Embrace which does not make her any tank. . A common way ppl choose is relying on Feral Flare and Blade of the Ruined King as a source of damage while combining them with defensive items to turn her into a good fighter. Another way you could achieve some tanking capabilities is utilize the hybrid items and life steal/spell vamp of Trinity Force, Hextech Gunblade along some defense items like Randuin's Omen and Spirit Visage to turn her into drain tanking.
Your build relies on Maw of Malmortius and Spirit of the Elder Lizard, but they are not enough to give her the dmg she needs. Generally having damage masteries and using Spirit of the Elder Lizard requires you to actually do a bit of damage, to make them worth.

Holy **** cut off with that color.

I'm working on that.

Thank you for clarifying that, it's totally not in the build or anything

Second build is worthless (you should never go for that) and runes/masteries could be optimized.

I made the second build just for fun, it's what I run when I'm playing normals and I'm up many kills/items on the opponent. I clarified in my section about runes that you can experiment with quintessences, as I'm not specifically running straight pro-build. I also clarify that the defensive tree is very flexible with Evelynn's kit and you can run almost anything and it will turn a good benefit. The offensive tree is simply what I run, I don't have too much specificity to each point, but if that's what pros run, keep in mind that this build was not optimized for pros.

I like how you're the first person that knows what they're talking about to comment, but you don't need to be so condescending, I said in the previous comments that I would change the color back to white, it just takes a while to get rid of all of the color codes.

Holy **** cut off with that color.

First build is decent, standard path is lizard -> hexdrinker + mercs -> randuins + banshees.

Second build is worthless (you should never go for that) and runes/masteries could be optimized. Try this:

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

It's pretty much what all pros run.

I also like how the first person said base damage is trash and the second said base damage is higher than I'd think. Truth is, it's only okay, she can duel some people, but early game champions like Lee Sin she is easily destroyed by.

The only reason I put text in a different color was because I didn't exactly like the white text, but it doesn't matter too much, I'll change it back. I chose to make this build is because this is how they choose to build Evelynn in the LCS and I thought it was pretty interesting. Sure, a bruiser Evelynn will do significant more damage and have dueling potential, sure she will be able to gank better. But if there's anything I learned from playing Evelynn in the past versus how her damage is now, it's that if you throw yourself at the enemy team and you can't fight whatever you get yourself into, you're dead. Her damage falls off a lot late game, and teams will easily focus you down due to you having no hard cc.

This is why I run 21-9-0 on her and penetration runes. A quick Spirit of the Elder Lizard and Hexdrinker will make you hit harder early, which is what I try to get at with this guide.

very little croud control

While I'll admit that her ultimate is not the spell it is late game, late game is what I'm trying to build for. With her ultimate hitting four or five people, will basically make you a megatank, and will slow them significantly enough for your team to engage. The slow should be enough that the opposing adc will have difficulty kiting annd your team can focus them first.

I actually like that idea, I'll put it on my bruiser build.

A bruiser Evelynn is actually the standard go to build right now. Her base damage is much higher than you'd expect, and with some damage items it becomes really strong. The engage of Agony's Embrace is incredible, a massive AOE slow and a huge shield is fantastic for starting off a fight.

Couple suggestions:

Start with Hate Spike always, the damage it offers ends up being much higher than Ravage.

Consider Blade of the Ruined King. It offers huge DPS, which goes well with your sustained damage and massive Attack Speed boost.

Fighter Evelynn is not the way to go. Your damage isn't nearly as good as other Fighters, and you lose out on some crucial defense that you need for initiating fights.

Good explanations within the guide, but the items section is kind of spread thin, maybe consider putting the pictures next to the explanations.

White text will look more professional, and will be a lot clearer to see.

When writing a guide, please use the white color for your texts next time. Its much more comfortable for the eye to read. I would give you feedback on the actual guide, but I have no idea how a tanky Evelynn is supposed to work. Considering she has very little croud control, and her base damage is trash, I think its a bad idea.
