I know Ahri just came out, and people might have their doubts about my build BUT. The thing about this is it works. I've played Ahri enough and done well enough to feel confident in this build.

This build will help you learn how to play her, and how to build her. I will be adding on more and more as time goes on.

Pros:

Great damage
Good Harass
Passive allows for AMAZING sustainability
With this build you will heal A LOT in team fights and just all around farming
Incredibly mobile, with her ulti you can get away amazingly fast, or catchup
low Cool Downs

Cons

Squishy early on (but which caster isn't?)
Focused FAST
Not very good late game IF she isn't farmed
Mana hungry if skills are spammed without mp/5

I chose these masteries because they are good for casters, and her too.

I will add indepth to this later on.

The magic pen reds are essential for all casters.
The MP/5 per level yellows are also very needed for her, because of her low Cool Downs and skills.
The flat AP blues and Quints are great for early level power and late game use.

In order to farm, you use your Q to hit all of the minions on the wave, along with once your passive is enabled, this is AMAZING for being able to stay in lane.

In the early levels don't use this to farm too much, only use it to harass the enemy whenever you can. It doesn't do enough damage until its around rank 3 and you have some AP items.

To start out with the Meki Pendant is ESSENTIAL for staying in lane and being able to harass.
The goal of this build is to create a good solid base of mana and mana regen so you don't get caught without mana in a teamfight even if you don't have blue. This also maximizes your AP and HP while also giving you some good Effects like the slow.

After the Meki Pendant you want to get a Tear so you can spam your skills more and get rewarded with mana as you use it. The Boots are basically Standard for all casters.

Getting the Crystal Cepter helps Kite and insure kills, along with giving you added HP.

The Rabadon's, Will of the Ancients, and the Archangels are all good AP items as well as the Will giving great Spell Vamp.

You want to max your Q out first for damage output, followed by your E so you can keep important Champions on the other team from doing damage while you charm them to initiate team fights and to help you get away. The W is used just in team fights and just farming whenever your able to use it to hurt champions mainly. Your R you obviously want to get at ranks 6 11 and 16.
