Ability Order
Essence Theft (PASSIVE)
Ahri Passive Ability
Introduction
The season two are amazing and work with Ahri very well. As an AP carry I take 21 points in offense, with these masteries she can have insane early game damage and boosted stats that carry you into the late game. I take nine points in defense rather than utility because Ahri's passive doesn't give you as much sustain as you mihgt think, and the extra armor and magic resist can help you out through the whole game.
You are a solo mid champion, that means you want to stay in lane. Therefore I take Clarity and Teleport. Clarity gives you more mana that you can use with your passive, so health won't be a problem. For those times when you do manage to get pushed out of lane, Teleport will bring you right back.
Ahri is adept at making comebacks. Do not let one death early in the game discourage you, if your team isn't completely ******ed you can get a few ***its and be right back on track. For farming, do not use your spells. Ahri is completely reliant on mana, and her spells don't do enough damage to make up for it when farming. You have a ranged auto attack with decent damage and should have no problem last hitting. As for poke, line up a Charm, as they are walking towards you line up your Orb of Deception. This should do a decent amount of damage, only use your Fox-Fire if there are not too many minions around. It's not worth the mana if none of the fires hit your target.
This is where Ahri shines. She excels at ganking. Wait until either you see an ally in a fight or there is a good set up for you Charm. As soon as you land Charm follow up with Orb of Deception and Fox-Fire, you and your ally should do enough damage to take out the enemy. If not, you can always use Spirit Rush, it not only has great utility, but can deal a decent amount of damage to clean up an escaping champion.
With your build pretty much complete and your Archangel's Staff farmed up you should have a largre amount of mana, and a ridiculous amount of AP. Your Q can do an amazing amount of poke damage your full skill combo can change the tide of a team fight. There's not much to say about the late game other than cast spells, and kill everything.
