Introduction

Hello everyone here is my first guide. This guide is about Ahri the 9 tailed fox. She is new AP/mage/assasin champion with nice burst damage and good chasing due to her ulti. In this guide I will explain how my build works and which items should you take on specific matches.

Runes

I take 9 magic penetration runes, 9 mana regen 0.5 per 5 sec (this character consumes lots of mana so these runes are necessery), 9 AP per lvl runes (yeah more Ap) and 3 quints AP. That gives us 8.5 magic penetration, 38 AP (with doran) and 3.7 mana per 5 sec at the beggining of the game.

Masteries

I take 21/0/9 masteries. 21 in offence for Ability Power, Cooldown reduction, better Ignite and more magic penetration. I take 9 in other to boost my Flash, increase mana, increase speed and also increase duration of the buffs.

Skill Sequence

You start your combo with Charm > Fox Fire > Spirit Rush > Orb of Deception > Spirit Rush then escape with your last charge of Spirit Rush if its getting to hot. Charm is a great skill for this kind of character. It grants 1 sec CC at lvl 1 which allows you to perform full combo if time is right. Fox Fire is auto lock on skill which targets enemy champions and deal damage. Spirit Rush is your ultimate. During first use Ahri dashes to your cursor location and fires energy ball. There s more. You can use it up to 3 times before going into cooldown. Orb of Deception is another great skillshot very simillar to Sivir which come backs and deal more damage.

Other items you may like

-If the enemy team have a lot of CC consider buying Mercury Threads instead of Sorc Shoes.
-If the game is going pretty bad there is no point in building Mejai. Build Will of the Ancients or Rod of Ages for survi and AP.
-If there are many AP characters in your team, buy Will of the Ancients and ask other AP to do it for sweet spell vamp.
