Hi, Welcome to my first ever Akali guide. I started maining Akali about two months ago, and I thought it was time that I share my Akali knowledge. In this guide, you will find information on Spells, Runes, Masteries, Items, Playstyles etc.

Please read the guide before rating, and as usual, I encourage feedback from all of you :D

Pros:

-Quick
-Assassin
-Demolishies Squishies fast
-Amazing burst damage
-Good at 1v1's
-Easy to juke with
-IS A NINJA!

Cons:

-Usless in team fights
-Usless against tanks
-Somewhat squishy

Ok, so I will start out with the runes. I ALWAYS run magic penitration marks, it is a must have, just for that extra damage.

For my seals I almost always use Ability Power per level. Just because its always nice to have that extra AP. The odd time, I will use flat dodge seals, just because with Akali, taking less hits is better. I reccomend AP though.

For glyphs, I use either cooldown per level, or ability power per level. I personally, usually use cooldown per level, because I love to use abilities, but you may like the extra ability power, its all preference.

Quintessences are sometimes tricky, I usually use Ability power, so i can activate both of my passives early, for better laning power. Especially if I know im playing squishies too. IF there are going to be tanks or at least tanky champions on the other team. I usually use magic penitration, just so they will take more damage.

For my masteries I go, 9-21-0. Grabbing Veterins Scars as fast as possible, and grabbing the magic penitration in offence. A lot of people go 21-9-0 with Akali, but I think she does nice damage already, so the 21 in offence is not needed.

For items I ALWAYS start out with a Dorans Blade. Extra HP, and AD to get that passive going. Plus the lifesteal helps your early game.

For boots, it all depends on the other team. I go boots of swiftness if they have a lot of squishies or carryies, like yi, annie, ashe, etc. If they have tanky champions/slow champions, I usually get Sorcorers Shoes, for the magic penitration.

Next I get a Mejai's. Only get this is you know or think that you will do well in the game. Otherwise it will be a waste. Of course stacks on mejai's really helpes Akali early game.

Crystal Scepter is my next item, and it is a must have! The slow, hp, and ap are amazing on Akali, once you grab this, keep in mind that your ult will now slow enimies.

Now I get a gunblade. The extra damge and ability power is very nice. Not to mention the lifesteal, spellvamp, and the amazing active of damage and slow.

Next grab a deathcap (self explanitory), and a lichbane. Now when you through your blade or do any ability rather, your next attack is increased by your ability power, which is very nice. Also, it has extra movement speed, for if your sorc shoes arn't enough.

Im going to keep this section quick.

I like to max Mark of the Assasin ASAP, just so you can harrass better, and obviously kill better.

Next I try to max cresent slash, but also grabbing one or two extra points in twilight shroud along the way. Maxing twilight shroud last, and obviously getting shadow dance whenever possible.

A lot of people go with flash, and ignite for Akali. I on the other hand, am all bout speed, and getways. Which is why I take Ghost and Flash. Flash helps to catch up for that last minute shadow dance, and ghost does the same thing while also offering an amazing escape tactic.

For farming, your basic rotation is to Mark of the Assasin the cannon minion, hit him, then cresent slash, and repeat. She is not the best farmer, but decent.

Q > Auto Ataack > E > Q > Auto Attack > E....

In a one v one situation my rotation that I go with is:

Q > R > Lich Bane/Auto Attack > Q > Lich Bane/Auto Attack> E > Q > R (If they are running)
