Introduction

Ello, my name is Wookie and this is my Akali Jungle guide, it is my first guide so please i would like to see your suggestions to make it better and I am open to criticism!

Guide Top

Pros / Cons

[+] One of the best single damage dealers in the game!

[+] Decent clear because of the (E) AOE and the (Q) Auto-Attack damage

[+] No mana
[+] Gets a MASSIVE damage spike once you build a ..
[+] Good Ganks once she hits 6

[-] Very prone to counter-jungling
[-] Really weak start, needs items like ||
[-] Squishy overall if you build full damage, if you don't like being squishy use the Damage/Tank build for a bit of tankiness

Jungle Path - IMPORTANT

Instructions

[1] Get a leash from your fellow top laner at krugs, use your (Q) on the big krug

[2] Go to raptors second, and get your (E) as it provides great aoe and hits all 4 raptors.

[3] Go to red after taking raptors, also by the time you take raptors you will have at least 10 seconds on your smite, so you can go to red and use your smite to get a health regen, and depending on your health you can clear camp 4 and 5.

[4] Go to wolves after red, take this camp and if you have enough health or a health pot left, use it now and go to blue.

[5] Use your smite on the blue, as I am pretty sure if you do not you will lose a LOT of health and possibly die

PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR (W) ON THE CAMPS! 5.19 PATCH PATIENCE UPDATE WILL TRIGGER THEIR PATIENCE IF YOU ARE HIDDEN IN THE SHROUD AND WILL HARD RESET!

Only thing I have to talk about, would be taking 4/4 in Sorcery, I think the 5% CDR is really strong akali early, as you want to be able to get as much abilities off on the camps as possible.

I take my (W) at level 4, as you do not really need it as you wont be invading the enemy jungle, and using it will doing a camp WILL MAKE THEM LOST THEIR PATIENCE!, also leveling (Q) at level 3 will help you clear slightly faster

Choice of Summoners

Taking smite is obvious, you wont be able to jungle without it, don't be silly :)

Taking exhaust is a very good option as a summoner, as your ganks are really terrible before level 6. You can use exhaust to catch up to an enemy champion while ganking, and to have the chance of pulling of a more effective gank *** they will be slowed, and this also synergizes well with laners who have strong crowd-control, for example Maokai. You can also use exhaust to get away from enemies and it is a good summoner to have while in a team fight

Taking flash is most likely the best option, as you can use flash to get away from enemies, and you can also use it to catch up to an enemy champion, for example, you are out of range of for your (R), you can use flash to get in range and potentially get a kill.

Taking teleport is not the best option, it can be good if you want to create global pressure, and use it so you can gank lanes quicker, then go ahead and take it over flash, it isn't all bad as you can use your (R) to dash to monsters, minions and champions to get away from danger, so losing flash isn't too bad

Taking ghost as a summoner over flash may sound stupid at first, but even though it may not the best option, it can be actually good on akali, as it can be used for gap closer for her (R) and you can use it if you want to gank because you can gank faster and chase down the laner with ghost, you can also use it as an escape but people may prefer flash over ghost if you are using it for the purpose of escaping.

Tips to make you a much better akali player

[1] Use your ultimate to dash to enemy minions and monsters/jungle camps to get away from danger, or to get closer to an enemy champion.

[2] If you place your (W) over a wall, you can use it as vision of camps, and can use your ult to jump over walls, here is an example:

[3] Someone can place a pink ward inside of your (W) to get vision of you inside it, be aware of this as people will buy the vision trinket upgrade just for this reason.

[4] ALWAYS buy a sweeper one either your first or second back, and make sure to get the upgrade ASAP, as its a perfect item for Akali as her main role is an assassin and you are not going to be very stealthy when you are sitting in a warded brush.

[5] I recommend if you want to get 6 as fast as possible, to try and not gank, always help your lanes if they are getting chased out of lane, or the enemy laner is horribly over-extended, but otherwise just farm until you hit 6.

[6] This tip is for all around jungling, if you are going against a devourer jungler, try to get wards in there jungle, and keep track of where they are, for example, the video at the bottom of the guide shows a 2/14 Shyvana, she was SO far behind as i kept track of her when she ganked lanes, and because i can't pull off good ganks until 6, if i seen her in the bot lane, I would take her ENTIRE top side jungle, which denies her devourer stacks, this allowed me to get 6 quicker, denied her farm for her devourer stacks, and put her miles behind as the her ganks are also not very strong early, and she only managed to pull off one successful gank.

Do I recommend this for ranked?

I do not play akali in ranked very much, but from playing her a lot in normals and sometimes in ranked I feel I can give my own opinion.

Akali is a perfect pick for Bronze, as people in bronze find it hard to deal with champions with a hard snowball, like Riven, Akali, Yasuo and Master Yi

Akali is also a strong pick for Silver, as people in Silver also find it hard to deal with champions with a hard snowball.

The skill level is slightly better than silver, but again it can be still viable, as long as you do not come up against a jungler who knows that akali jungle is weak early, which will make them invade 24/7 and put you behind for days.

This is when akali jungle is going to be much harder to play, as you are coming up against much harder players, but if you learn how to play akali jungle well, then it can be viable

Similar to platinum, akali jungle is going to be much harder to play, as you are coming up against much harder players and a lot better junglers with a lot more game sense, i would recommend not playing her at this level but if you can play her very well and understand how to play her then it is ok.
