Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello everyone! So this is my guide for my favorite character Akali.
Now Akali is by far one of the best damage dealers in the game in this guide I will give my step by step build on how I play and use Akali. I've won tons of games using this build so just try it before you give up on it.
*Some things to note*
I jungle with Akali, but if you don't feel comfortable with it. Just swap out smite for exhaust and get improved exhaust instead. Easy fix!
So we'll start with runes. You're going to be jungling at the start in this build. Now, we get the 4 AD runes so you can get 1 AD.
Then we go into offensive masteries and get 3 AD.
Doran's Blade is 6 so wait... math...
Greater Mark of Attack Damage
Greater Mark of Ability Power
Greater Seal of Ability Power
Greater Glyph of Ability Power
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
Along with your huge amount of flat AP runes you get both passives right at the start grats!
Grab that health potion and you're good to go.
*This is how I do my camps with Akali*
1. Kill wolves *NO SMITE*
2. Kill wraiths *SMITE BLUE ONE* Level up!
3. Golems *USE HEALTH POT OR YOU'LL DIE*
[If you've done this correctly you should be about 1 kill from 3]
4. Recall and buy 3 health pots
5. Kill blue buff! *KILL MINIONS FIRST. USE HEALTH POT. USE SMITE.*
Now from here you should be able to kill things easier and just run around and grab whatever you can.
Soooo. We got the tough leveling part down. Now we'll go to my build.
1. Doran's Blade and health pot
Allows you to activate passive, and allows you to get the double golem spawn. Good stuff.
2. 3 Health pots
Allows you to get blue buff and stay in jungle longer. Good stuff.
3. Amplifying Tome
Jungling gets easier! And you're on your way to a Sheen! SWEET!
4. Boots of Speed
Damn you're fast, like lightning. Woot mobility!
5. Boots of Swiftness
HOLY **** DID YOU SEE THAT?!
Squishies beware... Also a note about Sheen. This is by far one of the best items early game for Akali. Simply because it makes her burst just so high and it's wicked cheap. Great item!
7. Trinity Force
This is the fun part. Trinity Force is amazing for Akali, it gives a slow, crit, move speed, kick-*** passive, health, and it's all wrapped in a little package. This however is a limbo choice. Meaning you might not afford it at this point game is not going well blahblahblah. Just take it piece by piece, you will get kills if you're smart and don't charge the full HP 6 stacked Cho and go KAMA PWN!!! Oh ****...
8. Rylai's Crystal Scepter
Makes your spells slow. In conjunction with Trinity Force's slow you should be able to catch runners easy. Also gives ability power and HP! Yippee!
9. Guinsoo's Rageblade
AD, ability power, and attack speed for a low price of only 2235 BUY NOW!
10. Hextech Gunblade
It's a gun AND a blade! Gives lots of survivability because of spell vamp and LS. Also gives the cool little slow and deals a decent amount of damage.
11. Now we got 3 options. Getting a lot of kills and game seems like it's not going to end for a while? Mejai that **** up. Want more AD because they geared for magic resist BLOODTHIRSTER. Want more ability power but needs to be reliable Zhonya's is right for you!
In most of my games I will get to step 9 and we'll win. My games usually last around 25 minutes with Akali.
Well I'll talk a little bit more about Akali then.
Akali is a burst hybrid DPS. Meaning she does damage with spells and normal attacks.
She's very squishy at the start though meaning, DO NOT EVER INITIATE. *Unless they're tower hugging with like a little smidge of HP then by all means EAT THAT ***** UP* I cannot stress enough how you have to stay back and let everyone blow their cooldowns and whatever then you come in like the clean-up crew and finish them off. Akali is a great champion and if played well can make many people's faces turn red and table flipping will ensue.
Hope you enjoyed the guide, if I left something CRUCIAL out please just leave me a comment. Any questions will be answered!
