I forgot that the main reason that Akali counters Ahri is that Ahri can't target champions she can't see with her moves. TWILIGHT SHROUD

Thank you for your feed-back! I did take your advice and change the items, but I'm keeping the counters. If you look at any counter network that will even tell you that Akali counters Ahri. If Ahri misses her ball early on that leaves her open for an attack. As for champs with junps: early game you will try to q them, but they will jump you right away and that will be it. And early on you don't have a jump to jump back, only twilight shroud assuming its not on cooldown.

Honestly the build it self is not that great. Malady is an awful item for Akali. Ryalis is one of the most important items for her giving you a slow, CC and AP. Longsword is an AD item and Akali is AP.

Akali doesn't use attack speed or need it. She is a burst dealer. AD just effects her passive and grants spell vamp. So yeah attack speed is redundant.

Long sword - not needed.

Black cleaver - not needed.

"Akali is countered by pretty much anybody with a lot of health. Skilled players can beat high health champs, but the one thing Akali can't do is fight champs with a jump."

Okay so I can see you've put a lot of work and effort into the guide but that is wrong :). Jax may counter Akali but this part is wrong "Akali can't do is fight champs with a jump" Akali counters enemy's with jumps/flashes. She has a great gap closer, twilight and burst damage. Its all about exploting your ultimate to get distances while your cooldowns refresh so you can burst again. Keep doing that and you can take down any tank.

Gragas is never a threat to me. I always out farm and lane him heavily.

Ahri counters Akali. Not Akali counters Ahri :).

Just some pointers and how to make your guide better.
I will rep because I can see you have put hard work in but you just need to correct a lot of the mistakes and a lot of the counters are wrong. Lee Sin is not a problem if laning. Only if he is ganking and or fed.

And also jungleking at mid your job as Akali is to farm with your q and to stay away from the enemy mid and wait for your jungle to gank. Once you get the first kill in the lane you should be fine. The trick is to play defensive. I did this and was able to beat a brand mid and go 27/7/14.

Thank you guys so much for your votes! I will be updating this build later on today and will be adding more bbcoding. I myself think that it looks more professional and easier on the eyes. I do encourage you to try out my build though! I'm guessing you already know how to play Akali so you should be fine. I am going to give my opinion about Akali top right now which i will include in my build. If you have an Akali go top, you will probably get countered by a Jax. Whenever you get close enough to q, he jumps you and its over. You will also need a bruiser/tank in the jungle i.e Olaf, Wukong, Rammus, Voli Bear. I also recommend I tanky mid i.e Mordekaiser, Gragas. I say this because your team comp should only have two squishy champs. They are usually the AD carry and the mid. And if you play Akali top I recommend building slightly tanky and adding a Zyhona's Hourglass (not sure if I spelled that right). You will also need a jungler that can gank early like Rengar. He would be ideal because he can let you get the kill and he gets very tanky. You need to get that kill lvl 2-3 because Akali snowballs hard feeding and being fed. I didn't add any coding to this because its just a comment but I will post my thoughts about Akali top in the guide.

Agreed with pretty much everything JungleKing said.

Furthermore you should play around with these icons:

Code:
[icon=Flash size=55]

Makes your guide look less bunched up and easier to read. If you want examples there's always my guide.

+1 for effort.

Ok.... I don't have muc time so a quick review on masteries.

9/21 might give you defense but 21/9 is better in my opinion because going 21 in the defense tree means you need to have tankiness to exploit it like Juggernaut benefits higher hp characters such as tanks. Also take Brute Force and 1 point in Mental Force . the 3 AD shows while last hitting, the 4 AP never really shows. Ignite should be taken sometimes because you are a very good nuker due to the fact of: Q-R-E-AA-AA-AA-R-boom. or you can use all your R dashes, whatever. Add early game, mid game and late game chapters. possibly a matchup section, it'll make it much better.

Akali is great at top. She can harass with her Q then set up a gank with a bait-W-Q-E-R-dead by now if not sooner. In mid, someone like Orianna or Anivia will harass you from far away so you can't get in range to Q (pre-6) without losing the trade.

Alternative items and some more BBCoding. You seem to get the fundamentals but you need some more in places where there are walls of texts. Explain teamfights. Explain your combos like harass: Q-AA-E walkaway (pre-6) Kill combo: Q-R-E-AA till they get low and either use your other R charges or just finish them off with AA/ Ignite.

Explain the skills. Your R gets 1 stack after xxx seconds, isn't affected by cooldown and you get another charge if you kill someone with it. Your Q is a great harass. W let's you escape from ganks or juke someone.

All I got for now, I might come back with more. All in all it's a decent guide, You have my +1 now but I would like to see improvement like you said in your guide.

Sincerely,

JungleKing

All I can say is wow. Just tested this build out in 2 matches and went 30-4-9 the first one and 23-3-12 on the second. How is this build not #1? +1 for sure! Can't wait to play another game with it, hope you keep updating! :D
