Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello viewers. I have been playing Akali pretty much every game I play in LoL now (unless someone already chose her then I choose Morde : P). Anyway this build has gave me much success in 5v5 no matter my team or who my opponents are.
Start out buying a Long Sword because, from Akali's passive, it gives 10% spell vamp from your abilities, then buy 1 hp pot and head to either mid or top/bot. For your first skill get your Q ability, Mark of the Assassin (MotA). MotA is a great harassment ability. You can wait in a bush untill someone gets close and throw your mark at them then hit them once with melee. You are guaranteed to do a good chunk of dmg early game. Keep harassing until you can go for a kill with Exhaust/Ignite. You need to get those early kills because this build gets pretty expensive if all you do is farm minions and push towers. Repeat this until you get enough money to buy your Ninja Tabi.
Now I know you are thinking, "Ninja Tabi! WTF!! That is a tank item!" Well technically you're right but Akali is a pretty squishy champion and this gives her the survival she needs if you have no place to hide and juke your chasers with Twilight Shroud (TS). With your masteries, Seals, and Boots your will have 18.75% dodge chance. That's A LOT of dodge. You will be dodging quite a bit of attacks thrown at you. When you dodge those attacks you will gain movement speed from your masteries.
I tend to stick to my lane until I get their tower down then I branch out to other lanes to gank. Akali isn't the best chasing champion so make sure you attack at the right opportunity so you can get them before they get to the safety of their tower.
Mid game begins when you start ganking other lanes. You put a lot of pressure on their lanes, allowing your team mates to get their lane's towers down. Start building your Rylia's Scepter when you have to port back for hp or you die. If you are at or above 65% hp I don't worry about porting back to base. You should have enough spell vamp to get your hp back by killing minions or jungling. (NOTICE: DO NOT JUMP INTO A FIGHT OF MULTIPLE PPL BY YOURSELF! I SEE SO MANY AKALIS THINKING THEY ARE GOD CUZZ THEY DO A LOT OF DMG AND CAN HIDE IN THEIR POOL. THEY END UP DIEING. THE ONLY TIME I DO THIS IS IF I AM VERY FED AND THEY HAVE LOW HP.) Just keep ganking until you push to their base.
This is when you get to their inhibitor or they are at yours. End game is pretty simple: move with your group and destroy turrets until you get to their nexus.
Pretty simple game plan imo. Just follow the build up top and give it some practice and you should be owning nubs in no time.
Below is my match history of games I played using this build. All of them were solo queue normal games.
