Chapter 1: Summoner Spells

I took teleport for the good mobility across the map. I took ignite for when you need to finish up a kill and you dont have any shadown dash charges left. Other okay summoner spells are: Heal, for early game use, has very litte use late game, Flash, an all around good spell for catching up to people or escaping, and Cleanse, good for removing a lot of slows and disables, also good for removing ignite.

Chapter 2: Build

Akali's passive works as so: For every 20 ap she gains extra magic damage, and for every 10 ad she gets spell vamp. So her build should be a mix of ad and ap, but mainly focusing on ap for the extra damage. If you use the rune guide, you should have already activated passive at level 1, so start with an amplifing tome and a health pot. Then go for a sheen to start building a Lich Bane and. This item is NECCESSARY for Akali, because the ap and magic resist boost is good, and its passive is meant for Akali. Mark of the Assassin and Cresent Slash are melee abilities, therefore the extra basic attack damage becomes very usefull. Your mid game build should be sorcers shoes, lich bane, and depending how well you are doing, a deathcap, or a partailly built one. Next you should get a Rayalai's, because this is a great item for more survivablity, and the passive will allow your ult or mark to slow your target, giving you more time to shred your opponents. Your core build should be Magic penetration boots, a Lich Bane, Deathcap, Rayalai's, and a Guinsoo's Rageblade. From here you should build a Hextech Gunblade for more attack damage and spell vamp, a Void Staff if your enemy is heavy with magic resist, or depending on the enemy team, more defensive items like a Haunting Guise, Zhonya's Hourglass, or an Abbysal Scepter

Chapter 3: Gameplay

Mark of the Assassin is Akali's most important ability, because of the short cooldown and double damage(Marking someone then basic attacking), therefore it should be maxed by level 9. Next, max Cresent Slash by level 13 because the ad and ap ratios are high and it has an even shorter cooldown the mark of the assassin. Max twilight shroud by level 18, because of its utility. Obviously, like any other ultimate, take it when available by levels 6, 11, and 16. Akali's ultimate is amazing. It stacks up to 3 times, and it refreshes its cooldown on a kill or assist, as well as giving you another charge every 24 seconds. Her ultimate should be used for escape, initiation, and catching up. Do not be afraid to dive as Akali. She does a ton of burst damage, and her ult can be used to get in and kill, then used on a minion to get out. Akali should not be attacking tanks. She specializes in focusing down and/or soloing the ad and ap carries, as well as other less tanky people. Twilight Shroud is a very usefull ability, in fact i rarly go inside it. If someone is chasing you, throw it down for the usefull slow. Also in a chase, when you reach a bush, throw it down, but do not stay. The enemy will stay in the shroud waiting for it to end.
