I'll be honest, I've been avoiding an update to this page because since the jungle buff/doran's item cost increase I haven't found a way to make this viable without significant alterations, and if I did that it just wouldn't be the same build. This still works perfectly well in a lane (and I use it often, except with 21/9/0 masteries) but for now I'm putting this page in the archive.

In the future if I come up with a viable solution then I'll likely post it as a new build, but for now I'd just like to thank everyone for their support.

Well you should update your guide a bit K.

It's not possible to get a Health Pot in the start more, so the only solution I've found right now, is to get the HEAL ability instead of flash - Sounds silly maybe :/

Or else I've thought of buying the +10 AD Sword + 1 health pot - Though you won't get +100 HP / +Lifesteal, so don't know if it works..

I hope some one can figure out something to have a decent jungling akali, cuz it seems very hard now to jungle with her.

You thought wrong. This is the best akali jungle guide out there right now. I have no idea why its down voted so much. I used this one before any others and loved it>.>... Quit down voting this guide its a great guide.. and if anyone like this in the quote posts again? you're a bad troll and need to be removed from the site imo
And TO MCmickety.. its a Jungle akali guide you cannot downvote it because in your opinion shes not a jungle.. That makes no sense.

In my opinion shes much more effective as a laner, i tried this out and i just got way out level led and had to take a lane about 15 minutes in. the thing about this, is that you MUST have the tier 3 runes that alot of people, including myself, don't have for akali to be any sort of effective jungler. I do think it's an awesome idea and i love to see people trying new things, its just alot more work for the same old akali. -1

Thanks for the positive feedback! When I was first posting this guide I didn't think it would get nearly this many views so fast, and it's nice to see that at least two thirds of you like it.

And @Fever, that's a clever substitute for the runes. I think I'll try that sometime, and try substituting some AP runes for more defensive ones (and cut out the defensive masteries while I'm at it).

Worked pretty well for me, though I had to change a couple things because of lack of flat AP runes. I was able to activate her second passive by bringing ignite and the mastery, and igniting the blue wraith. I also used the exp/utility masteries because I felt they helped me out more than the defense ones did. But over all great build, +1. Once you build rylais and guinsoos it's gg for the squishies.
