Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is a pretty expensive build. Build around survivability and endgame ganking.
I went with AP/lvl glyphes because at lvl 3 you will activate your passive with these.
These also go over the flat AP bonusglyphs at lvl 6. Flat AP bonus quintecesses to get your passive early activated
Furhtermore since your Ulti deals magic dmg MP-marks are a must, and for glyphs well I take dodge due to more survival against physical dpsers
I recall usually when im low on health and solo where the enemy has more then half of theirs left. Playing defensively early game (depending on lanemate) using mark to last hit together with CS (if safe). When I'm around 1500 gold I start thinking about returning. Buy the BoSw, and if nessecary another healthpot. If I have enough I get a blasting wand. Followed up by Guinshoo's Rageblade.
Here I start looking for possible ganks. Notifying teammates when i spot a gank target. Suggesting them to let them push a little so i get more clearance for a quick gank. When you have enough gold (or die) go for Lich bane, with emphasize on sheen first. The extra walkspeed will help quite a bit. When possible I get the golem and lizard buff, golem for extra stacks of shadow essence (they regenerate faster with CD redux), and lizard for extra melee dmg. Because you will probably have lich bane most of the enemy heroes wont be able to outrun you. After getting a good number of kills. you will probably have enough for a Hextech revolver. The idea to pick this first is that you will deal more extra magic dmg and having a little more Spell vamp, thus gettin more health back through your ability's.
Time for the endgame. By now you should probably be around lvl 16/17. Goin for the Hextech Gunblade (put it in first slot so you can tap 1 for its active) you will get another slow. Once you have this its time to increase your healthpool by alot. Getting Rylai first (slow on your SD) and 2nd the frozen mallet (slowing each time you melee).
If you manage to complete this build you should have had alot of fun ganking/killing in teamfights.
My attack sequence is usually SD, mark, melee, CS, if needed TS, SD, mark, SD. if they arent down by then they would probably be tanks.
When facing a Yi or any other melee dps, I use exhaust to make sure to get more survival.
It is rare that I can get this build complete because of the high costs. But trust me on this, you will LOL hard when annie tryn or any other ganker will try to solo kill you.
When facing tanks make sure to exhaust em when they get low on health. This to prevent them from escaping. I use flash in this build so i can escape nasty situations.
Ive encountered multiple teams where they would completely ignore me early game to find out that that was their biggest mistake. Any smart summoner will try to prevent a hybrid akali to get the first items together.
Well be happy to comment on any of the points ^^. Hope you have some fun with this build.
Special thanks to HeAT for his akali build. This one helped me to find a personal favorate build ^^
