After giving it some thoughts and months after playing Akali, I've tried the path of getting hextech and then go for rylai before gunblade route and I found out that going for hextech gunblade BEFORE geetting rylai is more effective because you would deal way more damage and plus it has a very good slow in addition to that.

Well, I know a lot of people that get Hextech Gunblade first, they always wonder why I go for Rylai's Crystal Scepter before Hextech Gunblade. Truth is, Rylai's Crystal Scepter is a very important item for Akali. But, I think it could be beneficial either way.

It's a damage thing, but I think that going for the full Gunblade when you're winning will help you snowball faster. I get that Rylai allows you to stick onto targets tho.

As for the guide:
  • Recent math has shown me that Havoc actually deals more damage than Mental Force . Unless those 3 AP are necessary for having double disciplines, you may consider changing this small detail;

  • In the Cons section, she does have CC (her W slow), and you meant "vulnerable to crowd control", not "invulnerable";

  • Greater seal of vitality is decent, but flat resistances always beat pure HP unless you're up versus true damage. Flat armor will probably benefit you more even versus an ap, since it protects you from minion damage and auto-attack harass;

  • Haunting Guise has recently gained popularity on ap champions that usually don't need mana and snowball hard from the start. Though I'm not saying "get it on akali", it's worth a shot before your Hextech Gunblade if you're owning early (1-2 kills). I know the item doesn't build into anything, but you can sell it much later, and the gold it brought you early from kills will pay its cost for sure;

  • Visuals look nice most of the guide, I'd just recommend a bit more space between stuff, at times the guide can look "cramped";

    Overall a good guide, just needs some brushing up, perhaps a bit more consideration on where to place each section (related themes like proper use of her W and skill explanation are sooooo apart) and you're good to go ^^

You have a good guide here but it can be continued and be much better.
Since I am an Akali player myself, I can say you have a good build until you reach Void Staff. Akali is a carry and she will get focused since he has so high burst damage. If you have no Guardian Angel, you will constantly die in teamfights not only because you are a carry, but you can deal damage from a melee range and that makes you vulnerable. Twilight Shroud won't always help you escape since if the enemy has a Lee Sin, or late in the game where the support or tank will have Oracle's Elixir, this is the end for you...
You can do a chapter about escaping with twilight shroud and wardin on jungle mobs spawn and then Shadow Dashing to them. You have a good beggining as I said, but you can do it much better!

Thanks to The_Nameless_Bard, Arcana3, TinyStar and jhoijhoi for these awesome signatures.

Thanks for the review and the upvote.
I have put Guardian Angel in the Alternative Items section. Since i had to choose between Void Staff and Guardian Angel, I put Void Staff in the Cheat Sheet because it's the item I use most of the time. It always depends on the game, the last item could be Guardian Angel or Void Staff.

As for the chapter about escaping:

Maybe you didn't saw it? Or you say I should add the tip about shadow dancing with the help of wards in the jungle?
