I'm sorry to say to everyone but this build is going to take me a while to make it look nice. I am writing and publishing this build so I can share it at a panel that I am hosting at a convention. I have always loved Mobafire and I wanted to write my own guides, however, lack of time is becoming an issue. I only have a few hours left until I am out of time.

To those of you who located this build via my panel at Acen 2013, thank you so much for attending. :D I hope you enjoyed it. I will work on finishing this guide as soon as the convention is over and I get my free time back.

A new way to play!!

Hello everyone!! My name is Len, and I would like to share with the world my unique build for Alistar. Now, I know many of you will take a quick glance at this and think I am a troll. Well, I will admit, it does look different, but isn't that the point builds? To have options? To try something new? I am here to explain my build and how it works. Please, give it a try. Doing something new is quite fun!!

The point of this build is to empower you minions to push lanes and backdoor you enemies, yet still doing your job as a support. It all has to do with positioning and knowing where to be at what time. Alistar is able to heal minions as an AOE. It's cooldown is shortened when an enemy unit dies near Alistar. By getting a Banner of Command early on, you can start promoting your siege minions and push lanes while you are in team fights. This is why it is important to have the mastery Artificer . Getting Boots of Mobility will allow you to keep up with minions and will allow you to move back and forth between teammates and minion waves. The Enchantment: Captain will make your minion force move much quick so you don't have to waste time. Getting Twin Shadows grants you the gold before hand, movement speed, but more importantly it will seek out enemy champions that are coming to gank you. In mid game, if you are with your minions pushing, and your teammates are at base, while the enemy team is MIA, it would be best to active Twin Shadows so see if someone is after you so you can make you escape. Your Runic Bulwark should come last because it only provides defense to you minions. You can already heal them pretty quickly, so defense isn't to important for them.

Remember, you got to be smart when you do this. You can help minions, but don't forget about your teammates!! If they are grouped up and an engagement is about to start, promote the closest siege unit and Teleport right over (or walk there).

. Greater Mark of Armor will grant you early game defense for when you lane with your AD carry. Your heals with your Triumphant Roar and armor will keep you alive, meaning you can keep your AD carry alive.
. The is really good when you buy a Chalice of Harmony because you will be able to spam your Triumphant Roar (since it will be going off cooldowns a lot if you stick to your minions). It makes sure you can always cast something. You might consider having Greater Seal of Gold for a better income. The choice is yours.
. Same reason as Greater Mark of Armor.
. Just a little gold income to help support your build. Since you are playing support, you shouldn't be getting much creep kills. These ruins will help you out. Can be replaced with Greater Quintessence of Scaling Mana Regeneration if you wish. The choice is yours.

Take 18 points in the defense tree, taking health and damage reductions.

Then you are going to want to put 9 points in the utility tree, getting mana regen., gold income, and (very importantly) Artificer so you can activate Twin Shadows and Banner of Command quicker.

Prioritize maxing your Triumphant Roar first so you can heal your teammate and minions as much as you can. Take one point on Pulverize at level one the strong CC, and take one point on Headbutt at level four so you can start combing with Pulverize. Take Unbreakable Will when able. Max Pulverize second to reduce the cooldown on it. Max Headbutt last since it is purely utility.





Spells

Flash is great for everything. I tend not to like over-powered things in any game, but it is so important for your survival. When laning with your AD carry, if you enemy champion gets too close, you can pop Flash right over them and use Pulverize to knock them into the air. Taking a few steps back and Headbutt them right over to your AD carry or team. Can also be used to escape chases by flashing over a wall. Just a wonderful spell overall. This one is more of my preference. I love Teleport so you can get back to your lane as soon as you can. If you want to use a different spell like Exhaust or Ignite, this will be the best to take out. This choice is all dependent on you.





Items

This is a great item to get very early game for spamming Triumphant Roar everywhere. This ability's cooldown will be short while near a minion wave fight. Spam Triumphant Roar to keep your minions alive.

Boots of Mobility will grant you very fast movement speed to move from lane to lane. You are going to need all the movement speed you can get if you are going to be supporting not only your team, but your minions. Enchantment: Captain will help speed up this process by making the minions move much quicker.

. This is very important as a support. You much ward every time you can. Wither it be the river or jungle, wards save lives, and you must know where you opponents are at all times to push lanes with safety. Every team needs this item.

. Your core item. The is the main reason to your build. Banner of Command will empower your minions with a 15% increase damage, along with giving your allies a bit of health regen. It's active is also really handy for mid to late game. If you promote a siege minion when the game has turned to team fights, the enemies won't be able to defend their turrets while engaging your team. It's causes the enemy to protect their base a bit more and lose focus on attacking. An item for a leader.

. An item that doesn't get much love, however, it prove useful for our needs. The movement speed it grants will stack with our Boots of Mobility, and the gold we gained prior will prove beneficial. The active is what people tend to forget. Being able to call on these ghost can save your live if you use them at the right time. For example, when the enemy team is MIA while you are with your minions. Or if you are being chased, they will slow down the enemy champion for you to escape, or for an ally to escape.

. Runic Bulwark is an amazing tank item. It grants everyone armor, magic resistance and health regen. (which stacks with Banner of Command). It's aura also apply to minions, so you can amaas a larger force by keeping some alive. The reason why this is one of the last items you build is because your Triumphant Roar is already keeping you minions alive. There is no need for defense for your attack force. However, it is still a great item for team fights.

. If you happen to have time, turn your Chalice of Harmony into an Athene's Unholy Grail. I prefer this over Mikael's Crucible because it gives you much more mana regneration and some AP, but the active to Mikael's Crucible is rather nice. The choice is yours.




Summary

I LOVE crazy builds. Doing something out of the ordinary is just so fun for me. However, I still want to be viable to my team. This is my goal. To have fun and be creative while being a great help. To make a name for myself in some sorts. I hope guys can come out of your societies' norms and give this a try. I want to give a shout out to all the people that attended my panel at Acen 2013.
