Well you are on the right track... the thing is you have a lot of items that are over 3k gold. I like Abyssal Scepter and Rylia's. Those are great for this kind of Alistar. I would suggest that since the build is expensive. Make Catalyst than get your boots. The 860 that you would use for RoA can be used for those boots instead.

Personally I like to use. for this build. Its active is effected by Magic Penetration so it will hit harder. Use this before you Pulverize or headbutt. That way you will have more burst dmg, and DFG will do more dmg.

DFG>Pulverize>Headbutt. Thats how I do it and it works very well. Build the smaller items of Lich Bane and Hextech as soon as you can. Having a bunch of small items can be just as effective as one complete big item.

I might be overwhelming you with info, but you might want to get some wards too. You take Teleport and Tele-Ganking is something that you will be able to do very well. You can drop Wards in a bush, wait for someone to get into that push and Teleport right on top of them. Open with DFG>position to Headbutt into the wall>Pulverize for the win. If you get Hextech you can use that slow them. You dont have to take DFG, but it helps

So maybe rules 1 and 3 are incorrect! Thanks for the input. Any suggestions on slimming down the gear?

Ive got a similar build, so I love the concept behind this. Its nice, but a lil too expensive for me. I do like the fact that you do get tanky items. That lets you stay tanky, but you are a DPS. You have MR reduction, and with the 1.1 AP ratio of headbutt and pulverize, you will be smashing faces. Trust me I know ;). Great build, love the idea, and I know this will be a great build once you get started.
