personally i like my own a lot better as it offers a decent amount of AP and Resist. if consists of boots of lucidity and lich bane then frozen heart and force of nature then getting abyssal scepter, then hextech gunblade if your feel you want more power, or warmogs if you feel you're not surviving and need more health. but i have to update mine, it's not

I dont grab lich bane, for this reason. If you read the description it says it adds your ability power to your next basic attack. Sheen or Trinity Force doubles your attack damage. Seeing as your abylity power is only 80 and your attack damage is 120 i find the latter items more viable. but otherwise all in all a good build. +1

Tank and AP Alistar Guide

I haven't looked at many guides for alistar and this one is the best tank one i've seen. I mainly play alistar as a tank. As that item that is there for damage i would build trinity force for the same reason dafunkiedood said and it gives health, chance on slow, mana, movement speed making alistar that much faster to catch stragglers for another CC, +30 AD + 30 AP, +30% attack speed + 12% chance to crit making it a very powerful item. You do lose 30 magic resistance. +1 for this guide though i would like to see what you think of trinity force.

After a while of consideration i agree with trinity force. With this build and this setup it just makes more sense than lich bane. Although you can't underestimate how powerful lich bane can be on Alistar, but it has to be AP Alistar then. Adjusted the change and updated the masteries. Thank you for your input.

Yes with 300 AP (possibly more, I haven't played AP alistar really), lich bane is very powerful to add another demension to your AP game every 2 seconds (i think its a 2 second cooldown).
