Hi guys hope you enjoy my guide, I have made several different guides for other champions you can check them out below. I also am a Youtuber so you guys can check out Legend of Legends videos by clicking below. Thanks, and i hope you enjoy this guide.
Pros / Cons
- Awesome CC
- Great burst damage with this build
- Good clear
- Awesome team fight Ult
- Scales well in to late game
- Skill shot dependent
- Ult long cool down
- Melee Champ
- Mana gets used up alot especially early game
Maxing your Q first is what makes this build very good, the damage on it will be crazy and its like a nuke on your enemies, also the cool down will be decreased so you can maybe be able to use it twice in one gank. However this can be a problem if you are not able to land the skill shot because if you aren't then the gank will most likely fail. Secondly you will max your E for more Damage and will help you take down enemies much quicker. Finally max your W as it is most effective late game and it will take down tanks very well because of the % damage.
Trailblazer, my favorite jungle item at the moment, it will help you make the most out of the new jungle buffs such as the stun from the golems which is an extra CC or the extra magic damage from Gromp which will increase your DPS even more. Magus will make you very strong early game with the AP and this will help your ganks a lot.
Usually id take mobis for jungle however because Amumurelies on magic penetration, it will give him some of it early on and help nuke down enemies with the Q which goes very well with these boots. Home guard or alacrity if you want to enchant it, alacrity for the extra movement speed and home guard if your behind to defend.
ALWAYS straight after sorcerers boots take sun fire, the damage is amazing early game more than most people realize and it will make you a little more tanky so you don't become too squishy.
Amazing for Amumu i always take this after sunfire, the penetration along with the AP works really well with amumus abilities and will increase his damage out put by a lot. It will also give you a bit of life making you that little bit Tankier.
When ahead or even i will take this after liandrys, once again the it will give you some AP which will increase your damage significantly and it will reduce the enemies Magic resist allowing you to do more damage or an AP team mate. It also gives you magic resist to help with the AP damage from enemies making you tankier while you are still becoming stronger.
This would usually be my final item when im ahead, the AP is alot making your abilities much stronger and it gives you some Armour making you that little bit more tanky. You can also be cheeky and go in for a Q ult and when the team collapses on you activate zhonyas and watch the team get destroyed.
I would usually take this when im behind, it will make me alot tankier and help against the ADC's damage, also the health will help with sustaining longer in team fights and a helpful little slow which can be combined with your Q.
My preferred Magic resist item and usually my final item when i am behind, the Magic resist combined with the health will make me very tanky and the Spell shield will save me from CC's which can mean the difference between winning a team fight and losing one.
Creeping / Jungling
Start with gromp smite him when he spawns and you will have the buff which you then will use to take out blue without smite, you should be around half health at level 2. You can attempt to Q the enemy jungler and kill him while he is getting his Red or just go around and do your own. After that you should be level 3, proceed to gank Mid or Top, Land a Q on the enemy champion a quick E and you should leave the laner to take the kill. Avoid bot lane until level 6 as it can be risky going in on 2 champions without your ult.
A combination of Ability power and magic penetration to help you burst down enemies and a combination of magic resist with armor to make you that little bit more tanky even though your passive gives you some Magic resist, more of it wont hurt.
Always a must for Amumu, this spell will win you games. If you ever fail to land your Q then you always have this as back up to flash in and ult the enemy, it works very well and can change games. Also amumu dosnt have any real escapes so it can also save your life.
Always as Jungler.
Early - Mid Game
Early game once you hit level 3 after clearing yours or the enemies red you should always gank top or mid as it is the least risky and easiest lanes to gank. continue farming if neither lane needs help and once you hit level 6 you should most likely go to gank bot, wait till the lane is pushed and Q on to the ADC, if you need to Q on to the support but make sure when you ult you get both of them for an easy double kill for your ADC. Make sure dragon is warded at all times and if at any time the enemy bot lane recalls go for an early dragon.
Late Game / Team fights
Make sure baron is securely warded at all times, if the enemy team get it you will get split pushed like mad with the new buffs so if they ever to attempt to take it make sure you contest it. Call your team over Q in over the wall ult and smite it. In team fights even though your not full tank with this build you will be the person engaging, Engage with your Ult make sure you avoid Qing the tanks, once your in Ult and E and take out the ADC asap, if you get focused use your zhonyas or get your *** outta there with a flash.
