IF YOU SAW THE CHEAT SHEET AND THINK THIS ISN'T A GOOD GUILDE BECAUSE AMUMU'S AP IS BELOW 300 PLEASE REMEMBER AMUMU WASN'T MADFE AS A JUNGLER HE WAS MADE AS A TANK SO YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE SOME STATS FOR TANKY STATS
For glyphs you're gonna want all Greater Glyph of Shieldings because Amumu doesnt need the Magic resist early game, unless you plan to try early ganks before level 5 which most people dont. It's really a matter of preference and when you normally start ganking. Amumu is gonna need straight armor glyphs or the monsters will be able to take him out fast and when jungling you want to kill as much as you can before going back to heal as to get more exp. And you deffenitly need magic pen. marks and quintessences considering all of amumu's abilities are magic damage.
I buy boots early game so i can jungle faster and health potions of course to stay in the jungle for as long as i can. I buy 2 dorans rings for early game stats and dont sell them til i start to build lich bane. Void staff for an early boost of ability power and a nice 40% magic pen which really helps. Next i finish my boots for chases. I then grab soul shroud to help the team out and considering amumu is also a tank he needs the base stats and the aura helps alot with CD reduction. i grabbed lich bane for ability power and magic resist and the movement speed helps too. But then best thing is how it give u bonus damage equal to your ability power so if ur chasing someone and dispair isnt enough just one attack would give you a bonus of 200 already. I then pick up Rabadon to further increase that damage and give my spells a nice damage boost. And lastly i grab sunfire cape which will stack with despair and give you some more tanky stats.
Honestly I prefer ghost but theres no way in the masteries to boost up ghost without sacraficeing other needed attributes.
Creeping / Jungling
i invade the enemies blue if my team agrees but if you do you have to kill your red and blue as fast as you can before the enemy jungler tries to steal them back so I dont reccomend using smite on the enemies golem since you will have alot of teammates with you. If you kill the enemy jungler give a teammate their blue and go straight to your red, and then your blue. If you do not invade, i reccomend starting with your blue, then killing everything else in your part of the jungle, but leaving the lizard elder last so that your smite refreshes.
if the enemie your ganking has alot of health left and you miss your bandage toss, unless your teammate can stun or slow them then the gank has failed unless you decide to whip out ur ult.
whenever the enemy jungler dies and will be dead for 30 seconds or so go into their jungle and grab their red and blue buffs. if the golem and/or lizard are dead, ward them, so you can suprise attack the enemy when theyre in the midst of the fight.
