This guide was super helpful to me. I was already trying to make my own ap amumu when I found this guide. The guide is in depth and explains alot. I can't wait to put it into practice.

I feel that this guide is no longer viable as they have severely nerfed amumu ap ratios. THe basis of this guide is trying to take advantage of his ridiculous ratios and turn him in to a tanky ap carry like Nunu or Cho'gath. However, since his nerf, nothing scales 1:1 anymore on any of his abilities, and even so the most common roles amumu plays on a team is a tanky initiator. With this guide you are under 2000 health, and with an amumu that squishy people are more than likely to jump on amumu. To summarize, I downvoted because amumu's ratio's are not as good as they were, which is the entire basis of the guide, and amumu does not have the tankyness to fulfill his role on the team.

Thanks Meriakh! I just picked Amumu up yesterday, used your guide and haven't lost jungling yet. 12-0 so far in blind. Here's a SS of the most recent games I've played. I've noticed after your gp10's the next big item you get is very interchangeable. I've found myself changing from game to game from Ryleh's, Abyssal, and of course Sunfire. Highly dependent on your team comp. Also, I take q more often than not at level 3 to get that early gank in. Most people don't expect ganks that early, so if you can get your q off, it almost always results in a kill and/or blown summoners. Thanks again! I'm a level 11 summoner, second time I used Amumu and loved him. Because I don't have the necessary runes/masteries, I ended up laning BOT in the first phase and got:

I would buy The new ap iteam instead of abyssal scepter because of the mana regen.. but all in all a fuqin good guide ;) thx bro or sis idk :D

LOVE THIS GUIDE i just tried it now compared to the other guide that is 95% i LOVE THIS BUILD WAY MORE THE FACT IS that the other guide i felt late game that i was really falling behind with enemy and ally champs, but i truly felt the diffrence in damage and survivability with this guide. your comment on the other guide about the hourglass IS SOLID I CANNOT STRESS MORE ABOUT THIS FACT due to the fact the enemy team focused me mostly due to the dmg output and this caused them to lose their balance during the game since i was invunrable.
LOVE THIS GUIDE THANKS ALOT although i was extremly squishy at first but at the end i came out 9/5/21 and got a quadra kill obviuslly extremly tough to handle.

My guide is updated. I've changed a ton about the build and I honestly think it is much better now. I am also uploading a video so you guys can see him in action. It is actually a full length vid (so a full game), but there are some pretty crazy moments in it. The vid really shows how even a team being completely dominated can be saved by amumu.

Sure I'll make a video. Also, though I haven't updated this guide yet I have been trying a slightly modified version of this build that has been working great. I netted like 10 straight wins going from 1650 to 1730 elo.

I've yet to try this build but it looks very interesting. Numerous times I've not been confident enough in chasing the last enemy alive (even when they have low HP) due to being too weak; this is by following the top-rated guide on here. Could you please create a video of you playing if you haven't already?

This build is awsome but i prefer building the rabadon's deathcap before will of the ancient. I can 1 v 4 the enemies if i have my ult ready :)
