Introduction

I have played with all the Anivia builds and this one has worked out for me the best. This build is aimed at eliminating Anivia's greatest weakness (Low Starting Mana/ Slow Movement Speed) and turning it into her strength. With those weaknesses taken care of she can effectively dodge skill shots, juke at a faster pace, and have almost an unlimited supply of mana for Q for early game. This build then transitions into a Massive Burst AP carry mid game, leading into a dominating late game.

Runes

I pick these runes specifically for filling the role that the early items void. Ability power and extra mana regen.

With the Seals of Replenishment the user can farm minions with Q, in a scenario where you are unable to farm effectively with basic attacks this proves useful.

The Marks of Insight help increase Anivia's overall damage output by a great deal. Any AP carry would be foolish not to have these.

Finally the Quints and Glyphs of Potency are to make up for the lack of Early AP.

These Glyphs supported by the choice of early items allow Anivia to chase down enemies with low health and help get that extra bit of burst or mana that would have otherwise been impossible.

TIPS

*Blue Buff is the most powerful thing for Anivia to have at any level. Getting it at solo level 6 or 7 with a few health pots proves very helpful.

*the timing on Anivia's basic attack for last hitting minions takes some getting use to. You can use Q or E to last hit but try to avoid it.

*Before you get boots of swiftness - If Anivia is Mid lane it isn't always worth leaving the lane to get a gank. With her low movement speed it makes it difficult. Only gank if you feel you that the enemy has over extended to the point where they cannot escape.

*If a 2v2 breaks out in a lane get ready to teleport in once the enemy has over committed to the fight.

*when using Q remember you can press Q again to activate her ability early and stun the target.

*In team Fights use your Icewall to cut the enemy group in half.

*using Flash then Q can ensure an enemy champion can not dodge the stun.
