yea idk what happnd tho... i was at the top of the best of the 30 days list but after 1 or 2 votes i wasnt even on it. idk if its mobafire bug or just the vote scaling system.... but i couldnt have gotten more than 2 troll votes

Item-wise, if you're the only mana dependent champ on your team and you're doing well against your lane, you can skip the archangels/roa stage and just go straight for a deathcap + void etc. I don't think Anivia really needs hp if you have good positioning due to stun, slow, and wall. Of course this is under certain circumstances. But if you're versing say a brand mid, and you're confident you can dodge his skill shots, I think going straight ap so you can nuke half his hp per q+e and going 6-0 or 6-1 is better than say sustain and going 2-0 since if you have blue buff you already lose half the benefit of a roa or a arch, and deathcap gives more than twice the ap when you get it.

I do think that if you are raping ****, you can rush a deathcap. But it simply isnt as viable as RoA/archangel. why wreck when you die instantly? And with a brand mid, you wont be able to out burst him (unless ur REALLY fed. and i mean REALLY fed). Its just in his skill set to out dammage you, but that doesnt mean out play you. With a brand R,E combo, your life will about halfway. Most brands WILL hit their pillar and putting u at dangerously low health. Combined with ignite and his passive, anivia= dead. Thats why you need health. You can easily out harass brand when ur 6+. Its just more viable to get health and AP at the same time than to go full glass cannon (really only works for AD carrys)

Im a veteran Anivia player i agree with ur runes , summoners and masteries. But i got a small advice of items - After Catalyst take a ToG , and Archangel after RoA. This is a situtalion when u got a dumbass team and u dont get blue , ur mana regen will be like 47 or more
Personaly i dont like zonyas , i take it only to counter few chmaps like kennen or fiddle, but others will just melt with regualr combos

Yea i am thinking about the catalyst to the ToG. Idk bout the archangel after RoA tho. But the early ToG will be good... ill have to do some testing and play a few games

You'll want to get Archangels sometime after you have around 2000 mana. It's just more cost effective than the alternatives. After tog it comes at around 1860 gold and will give you (at 2000) 100 ap. If you're doing well I'd suggest rushing deathcap of course, since it'll skyrocket your ap and the tog can always wait till it's near maxed.

I usually get tears first if I'm going mid cause I don't need the sustain and you get the stacks a few minutes earlier than you would otherwise. It of course depends upon the mage that you're up against. I can deal with a brand, but a good annie will project your q, probably dodge it, stun, burst, kill egg. Don't lane against an annie mid if you can help it lol. Because of that anivia should rarely reneg upon survivabillity. She does have the utillity to be a 900 ranged champion but it rarely works out that way if you want to do damage.

I tend to use her as an ad kiter, she has a lot of escapes and the utillity tree will help you out a lot. And against anyother mage anivia will drop flat in terms of damage output anyway, and simply because her only stun is slow, easily projected, and when it does hit doesn't last long enough to do anything more than slow said mage down.
