Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hi, this is my first build i have ever made. I play Annie very often and succesful.
The following guide will help you, to learn how to play her. This is just a SHORT guide. I want that you integrate your own way to play!
Btw i´m from Germany so my english could be bad :P
I know what u think: "OMG noob why Barrier ?? Take Ignite Idiot !!" But by playing Annie i just don´t need Ignite. When I fight, the enemy dies without Ignite and if not Ignite wouldn´t have killed him. But with Barrier the enemy thinks, he can burst you down in 1sec. When he engages, use your Barrier spell, stunn him and kill him fast. Your Burst damage is really high. For example, I played against LeBlanc. I was really low life and stayed at my turret. I waited until LeBlanc jumped to me and as she did i used Barrier to survive the burst, stunned her with Tibbers, used my Q and W and my turret just killed her. Ignite would be just useless in this situation!
I usually start with a Doran´s Ring, 2 Health potions and the yellow trinket. Doran´s Ring is just a nice item. It makes you tankier, your burst higher and it gives you mana regen. The 2 health potions help you to stay at your lane without going back. I use the Warding Totem trinket because I don´t like to be ganked...
You should buy your Boots and your Abyssal Scepter early. I think I don´t have to explain why I use this Boots. The Abyssal Scepter is a nice early game Item. You deal more damage because it gives you AP and it reduces the Magic Resistance. Aditionally you receive less damage from your enemy because of the Magic Resistance it gives you.
Rabadon´s Deathcap is just a AP Carry core item. It makes you very strong!
Rylai´s Crystal Scepter gives u much AP and makes u a little bit tanky. The Passive that slows the enemy by using a spell is helpfull too.
Zhonya´s Hourglass is a strong item. We already have Magic Resistance and HP so we also need some Armor. Of course it gives you very much AP! The Passive can be very usefull. If the enemies are focussing you, stunn them with your W or R. After doing that use your other spells for getting your stunn ready again. When the enemies are still trying to kill you and your spells are on cooldown, use Zhonya´s Hourglass. When it´s over you could use your W again to stunn them or maybe your team have already saved you.
While playing you will see that your burst damage is jisúst destroying everything ! But there´s one Problem - You are squishy ! But you don´t want to be squishy, do you ? Maybe it feels a little bit wrong but the Warmog´s Armor is the item you need. You stay longer in the fight and can deal more damage.
When you have all these items you have already won the game!
Annie is a normal AP Carry. You don´t have to play her very special. I think you know that farming with your Q works nice. The Molten Shield can be ussed for getting your stunn ready. Try to stunn the enemy(s) with your ultimate, because the range is a little bit higher and while they are stunned they receive the damage over time effect of Tibbers. With your stunn your ganks will be awesome. Just do it !
This is the end
This was my guide to Annie. I hope i could help you. Maybe you can give me a feedback. If you think the guide is nice, you have the permissions to say that ;)
