Why put S6 on the guide when it hasn't been updated. Just an Example: "Zhonyas hourglass - Provides with the most amount of flat AP, being equivalent with Rabadon's Deathcap and Deathfire Grasp" It has 70 AP (hourglass) and there hasn't been a DFG in the game in a very long time!!!. Voted this guide down. Horrible representation. Season 6 my a$$.

Good guide, if you wanna play Annie once this is your to go guide but there are so many things that as of today 2-23-16 are wrong. Like the green wards in the map picture, or the upgraded wards, and the deathfire grasps. Still I think it would be useful to have everything explained on why each item works on Annie because I think some of them are not worth taking on Annie.

So what would your final build be, other than whats on this guide? Kinda playing Annie for the first time and wanna understand more about what items to build. Something about what you said "items not worth building for Annie",I was wondering what would those be exactly? Looking for more of an understanding on how to play Annie properly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Changing from upvote to downvote, re-publish the guide when you have actually updated the guide.

@Articc: Run 18 points in cunning. Thunderlord's decree is too good to apss on at the moment.

Do you usually run 18 points in ferocity or cunning?

Annie is nuker not tank.
I played with annie 300+ games and i can say: If you go ap, you go straight ap.
Even after nerf you have time wreck enemy team or atleast ranged carry.

Ya i totally agree, that's why i even recommend taking the mastery that deals more damage to Annie, just to do as much damage as possible. If you are peculiar about the frozen heart, i do find it sometimes is a nice finishing touch to a build that helps reduce cooldowns while providing great stats for your team.

Too many people were complaining about so i just moved it under situational items. As a last item in a build, I still find it one of the best choices.

I put Frozen Heart under late game item section, cause too many people were complaining about it being a core item over zhonais, but It's still one of the best last items considering all the bonuses it gives to a good annie player. Having stun up much faster with more CD as you already have insane damage with at least 500 AP and at this point in the game when you are considering to buy a frozen heart its the timing and position that maters more then anything since everyone's got a good amount of damage at this point into the late game. Also reducing their adc damage by lowering their teams attack speed, providing you with extra 400 mana as 1000 mana cap can't possibly be enough at late game and finally making you a big priority in teamfights, the armor can provide you with enough time to away from your other teamates after you used your first burst spells.

Played around with the masteries a bit more, these seems to be the best set-up for season 4 on Annie

Not going to vote because I have seen this guide when it came out and am not overly impressed with its progress, some things that made your guide decent (like the masteries) have now been ruined.

I am quickly going to give you some tips on what you can do to correct your main build.
Also I am going to pm you with a sample of how you can organize the build so you do not need to have 4 Annie builds (which I have been told is an eyesore).

1) Spells: Ghost, you overlooked this spell the moment you had your build include Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Do you kite as Annie? This spell would make it hell of a lot more easier.

2) Runes: You need to use these for some early game defence, especially since you do not start out with your ranged harass. The way the system is now is that:
~ Marks - have the strongest scaling attack damage, attack speed, ability power and penetration stats
~ Seals - have the strongest scaling armor and health stats
~ Glyphs - have the strongest scaling magic resist and cooldown reduction stats
You will have a stronger early gameplay following that meta. Also for marks penetration helps more on an AP carry than scaling or default ap.

3) Items: In "First Buy Choices" well if Annie does not get either blue or rod of ages she is useless in lane with no mana sustain. You might consider adding Athene's Unholy Grail to this build set for the duration of the game before you purchase a guardian angel. Heck you might even want to keep it for the CDR and continued mana sustain.

4) Abilities: Why do you not start with Disintegrate? It is like asking anyone with decent ranged poke (ie. Kassadin) to hurt you real bad at the very start.

5) Masteries: Utility masteries are fine, I personally wouldn't go the runic affinity direction and instead spend 5 of those utility points on the defence tree as I do not like to rely on getting golem crest. This is completely preference, but what does indeed need work is the offense tree. Double-Edged Sword does not work so well on Annie because a) she is ranged) b) she needs to be close range to combo. Instead maxing Sorcery would be far more helpful. Expose Weakness is also a questionable spec on Annie if she is a CARRY, you should be netting the farm and kills, that being said Feast like you previously had would work, I personally would prefer putting a point in Fury to make last hitting slightly easier.

Yes you don't need it on Annie, accidentally posted it. umm as far as Double-Edged Sword on Annie, it pushes out more damage which can be great for bursting down targets but also could be your ruining, making you less survivable in fights, which a Champion like can offer much more then just her initial burst, being able to pull off an AoE stun on the enemy teamw twice, although especially with my first build offering pure damage, the mastery Double-Edged Sword is quite a godo pick, I'll add it in right now.

EDIT: So I forgot that without butcher you cant take Feast, so in honest case, butcher is just as good even though you don't need as much as you would on other champions. Would still leave it up to preference, but in final opinion, for the final opinion I left butcher with feast on my 4th build, and changed first item build to go with Double-Edged Sword taking that 4th point into Sorcery

Because you get Feast {Idk why it tagged cho gaths...} with Butcher . Which regens 2 hp and 1 mana per mob kill

To be honest your right for the majority Its just at that late, 600 AP and 700 AP wont be much of a difference but cooldowns would be legendary difference, but again on the contrary I think it would come down to how the game is going. The armor would just help survive better with the lower cooldowns, and the passive of slowing 20% attack speed can be a huge difference of damage playing against a heavy auto-attack team(Vayne,Zin Zaoh, any adc). 120 AP with different AP bonuses can provide a lot more damage too teamfights, and if the game calls for this then may "odds be ever in your favour" and utilize the passive to your best ability.
note: I'm a bit sleepy when responding to this, so bear with me if there are grammar mistakes
-As far as mana, 1000 mana is barely enough at this late into the game,
-Frozen is cheaper by 400 gold, not much of an argument as its your last item but watever
-Passive helps out your team a lot
-Cooldowns are under-valued
-Zyhonas is as good of a late game item, depends on situation, if you are getting focused hard in fight for some reason like a zed or something idk, getting a zhyonas might be the better option.

Well Annie doesn't need much mana doesn't she O.o. If her Disintegrate used right, she isn't mana hungry though, but I am not as high elo as you so I don't really understand why Frozen Heart on Annie xDDDD. But IMO, I think Annie doesn't need much mana items and she should focus on building AP items.

+1 Goood guide

But why do you buy Frozen Heart for Annie? Well she isn't that mana hungry though if you need to armor you could use some armor seals and/or buy a Zhonya's Hourglass. Maybe you could remove Lich Bane and Frozen Heart from your late game items? Annie is a burster, she doesn't have time for AA though :/. Not saying that you can't choose Lich Bane but there are more better items for her. :)
Other than that good guide, but you need to add items section so that you could explain why you need that item. Yours only got starting items but thats not enough =/
Good luck on that :)

Edit: Wierd=.= I did press the upvote button and seems like it doesn't work==
