Hi, I'm Darklancer, and this time my build will be on Annie. Annie is one of my Favourite all time champions, not only because she is so cute and adorable, but also because of her amazing skills and her early game potential.
Annie is an AP burst caster mage, who excels at disrupting teamfights and busting down frail targets.
Great AOE stun
Strong burst which will kill most frail champions
Great bear which even does burn damage
Tends to get focused
If target does not die to your burst, you are basically stuck
Marks Greater Mark of Magic Penetration These runes are just AMAZING on any AP burst champions
Seals Greater Seal of Scaling Magic Resist As Annie is such a big damage threat, people tend to direct their attention at you so you will get focused down very quickly. Therefore, these runes will help keep you alive so that you can unleash your full damage combo.
Glyphs Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power These runes are aimed at giving the most damage output later on in the game.
Quintessence Greater Quintessence of Ability Power These runes give Annie early AP to rule over her lane opponent.
Disintergrate(Active): Annie shoots a mana infused fireball, dealing magic damage to her target. The mana cost is refunded if it kills the target.
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Cost: 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 mana
Magic Damage: 85 / 125 / 165 / 205 / 245 (+0.7 per ability power)
This is basically you early game last hitting tool. This is what you should use to charge up Pyromania in the early game
(Active): Annie casts a cone of fire in front of her, dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area.
Cooldown: 8 seconds.
Cone Width: ~45º
Cost: 80 / 95 / 110 / 125 / 140 mana
Magic Damage: 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+0.75 per ability power)
When your AP gets higher, this will help you farm a lot of gold quickly as it will clear caster minions in a shot
(Active): Places a shield around Annie for 15 seconds that increases her armor and magic resistance. Additionally, enemies will be dealt magic damage whenever they use autoattacks on her while the shield is active.
Cost: 25 mana
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Armor & Magic Resistance: 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50
Magic Damage: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+0.2 per ability power)
This skill gives you more survivability. Yea. That's about it.
(Active): Annie releases her bear Tibbers from his toy prison, dealing magic damage to enemy units in the summon area. For a limited time of 45 seconds, Tibbers can move and attack at Annie's will, while continually dealing magic damage to surrounding enemies.
Cooldown: 120 seconds.
Range to center of Summon's AoE: 600 (estimate)
Radius of Summon's AoE: 150
Radius of Tibbers' Aura AoE: 200
Continual Magic Damage: 35 (+0.2 per ability power)
Cost: 125 / 175 / 225 mana
Summon Magic Damage: 200 / 325 / 450 (+0.7 per ability power)
Tibbers' Attack Damage: 80 / 105 / 130
Tibbers' Health: 1200 / 1600 / 2000
Tibbers' Armor: 30 / 50 / 70
Tibbers' Magic Resist: 25 / 45 / 65
This will be the skill you will want to use when Pyromania is charged as it stuns in an AOE. Don't forget that Tibbers can attack as well!
Allies To Work With/Enemies To Watch Out For
Assuming you can't take mid, always looks out for these allies as yet will be able to tank for you and provide you with a stun.
These assassin burster-ish kind of champions will start hitting you first as you will be a big damage threat. When that happens, don't forget to use your Zhonya's Hourglass so that your teammates have time to help you and you will survive.
Ignite This is just a must for almost all AP burst champions.
Flash As I said earlier, you can easily be focused. Therefore this will help you escape. Also, this can help you initiate. When Pyromania is ready, flash in and activate Summon: Tibbers to stun as many people as possible.
Cleanse Well... I guess if you reallyyyyy want it.
Heal 5v5 is possible, but not recommended in ranked games.
Gameplay Level 1-5
For your starting items, you have a few choices
- Highly Recommended
- Another possible choice. Check your lane opponent. If its gonna be someone who is going to be playing passively, then start with this.
- If you start by pumping Incinerate then this is fine.
As Annie , in lane your focus should be to charge up Pyromania repeatedly. When a minion is low, disintergrate it. Repeat this until Pyromania is charged up. By then, you should be level 2. Use disintergrate to stun your opponent, then Incinerate him/heror vice-versa. Keep repeating this combo to whittle down your opponent. If he refuses to back off, charge Pyromania 1 more time, Flash in, stun with disintergrate/ Incinerate then Ignite him/her. . Whenever your have to go back to base, just use incinerte and Molten Shield to charge up Pyromania.
Gameplay Level 6-12
Once you reach level 6, your ganking career begins.
Charge up Pyromania , then head to gank top or bottom lane . Lead with Summon: Tibbers and use your full combo while they are stunned. Most of the time, you should kill your opponent.
At this point you will want to have farmed up your Rabadon's Deathcap . Annie is very dependable on her ganks, which is an easy thing for Annie
When picking tagets for you to fight and you do not have your ultimate, DO NOT TRY TO 1V1 UNLESS YOU ARE FED.
Gameplay Level 13-18
This is the part of the game where teamfights will start occurring very often. Since you are paper, try not to enter immediately and try to stay behind a tank. Try to get a good positioning also, as if you are out of position, it will be easy to kill you. When all of your spells are used up, use your Zhonya's Hourglass to wait for cooldowns. (Only if you are being attacked). Also when Tibbers is alive, try to position him in between as many of your enemies as possible. That little damage could make the difference. (For those of you who do not know, you can control Tibbers by holding ALT.) Also try to have Molten Shield on all the time.
Sorcerer's Shoes- Not much explanation, basically jus to have that early magic penetration so that you can do more damage
Rabadon's Deathcap- This is so that you can obtain the most AP possible
Zhonya's Hourglass- As I said,you cn be focused easily. This will healp you survive so that you can activate your full burst combo.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter- This gives you not only AP, but also HP for survivability.
Void Staff- Always nice to have that extra penetration
Banshee's Veil- This is so that you can survive more and also to prevent disables from being put on you
Abyssal Scepter- If your opponents spells are really painful, this would give you magic resist, swap this for Banshee's Veil.
Mejai's Soulstealer- If you are doing very well, this could be a possible item.
Rod of Ages- Only if you seriously still have problems with your HP then this would be ok.
Doran's Ring- If you want some extra rings for your early game that will be fine also.
