Introduction

Hey guys this is AntiMagefromDotA. Recently lots of my friends have asked me to write a guide on jungle J4 and here it is.

Runes

I have the standard jungle runes with armor penetration mark, flat armor seal, magic resist per level glyph, and movement speed quintessence. For quintessence you can also take flat hp, armor, flat ad, etc. However I prefer ms because I help me chase and run away better. Also to land a knock up combo against a champion who are running away from you you need movement speed to catch up and place the flag right in front of him.

Masteries

I use the standard tanky dps mastery 21/0/9. Important note here is the 3 point in Meditation(Utility tree). Since I usually start the game doing red buff then gank, the extra mana regen come into handy so that each time I come to lane I have enough mana for my knock-up combo.

Items

I always start with boot and 3 hp pots. The extra ms couple with red buff made Jarvan one of the strongest lv2 gankers. Aterward I try to afford my Heart of Gold and Wriggle Lantern. Lots of people have asked my what to get first? My preference is HoG since it give you provide you with 250 hp which make you somewhat tankier (lots of time I dive and with Hog you can take 1 extra tower hit and come out alive). The gold per 5 is also nice since you will not get much of farm as your carries.

After your core there are 2 path of building items. The one I stated above is for balanced game. However when you do extremely well and got fed, go with atmog trinity.

Creeping / Jungling

My style is to start with red and gank at lv2. With boot, knock-up combo and the help from your lane partner, you will always get first blood (which happens like 50% of my game). Afterward, you can either go back to jungle or gank other lanes, till you get your core items (HoG, Wriggle)

Warding is really important. When I go back from the jungle and I have like 300 gold, I wont buy a cloth armor. Instead I will buy like 4 wards. Ward your jungle entrance and river to see their jungle activity.

Team Work

Your role in teamfight is initiator. Use your e-q combo to knock up enemy champions. If you also have a bruiser top lane you can use your ult to separate their carry away from their team and you 2 can easily finish him off. Be careful using your ult because sometimes you might trap your own squishy teammate inside and they will get killed.
