AoEPlank

The key to this build is farming. First couple levels parley to finish off creeps only if you haven't needed to harass much to maintain lane position. Once you start getting a couple points into parley and have purchased your Tear of the Goddess, make sure to parley as much as possible to last hit minions. This will ensure your gold farming is up to par.

Next, picking up Boots of Speed afterwords to at least keep you on your toes when Scurvy alone might not save you.

Now, to the Tiamat. Most people scream "noooob!" when they see a Gangplank with Tiamat, that is until they notice your Parley taking out multiple minions with one shot. Then they begin to wonder. Then they see that you farm jungle/lanes EXTREMELY well. Drop a parley shot into a group fight, and watch multiple peoples health drop ;)

Next I tend to pick up a Zeal to get my movement speed to a slightly more respectable number (why not upgrade boots? I will mention later). Also begin to pick up pieces for your Infinity edge at this point.

After your infinity edge, pick up a ghostblade. Armor pen at this point in the game tends to be helpfull, as well as the clicky effect for chase/escapes.

Next, upgrade your Zeal to a Phantom dancer, and sell your Boots of speed. This should net you around 394 movement speed. Can always pop your ghostblade activate for more speed if you need it.

Upgrade your Tear of the Goddess into a Manamune, you can always do this earlier if your crits just dont seem to be hurting enough. (although they should be around 1k at this point)

Finish with a bloodthirster, and elixers.

My top crit so far with parley was 1730, and of course, with a Tiamat that was splash damage, dealing 800 or so to everything nearby. Melee hits for 1200.

Spells
Farming and using parley to grant extra gold makes this build easier to obtain. The quicker you farm up the cash, the better. For this reason I recommend picking up Teleport. Being able to head back to base to make quick purchases early, and to keep yourself in the lane ensures you have time to farm, giving you the edge in gear. I also enjoy using Clarity as well. What's more annoying than a Gangplank that Scurvy's out of your stun? When he also cleanses out of the next one too :)

Runes
I tend to pick up crit runes rather than crit damage because my focus is not early crit items. Having some crit then will still make those occasional harass shots seem scary. Mana regen helps to ensure you can continue to use parley to farm whenever possible. If you can get away with it, Golem buff for the cooldown reduction is always a bonus.
