1. Introduction

Hi, my name is EpîcCow and im making my first guide ever, here at Mobafire.

My guide is about "Malphite, Shard of the Monolith" Ability Power style!
The best thing about Malphite AP is, that he can DESTROY main targets in a team fight, such as the enemy AD carry. Tell your team to go after you use "Unstoppable Force". When your ready just smash into the main focus, use Q-->E. I'f you got RoA, RCS and Deathcap he should be dead with that combo.

2. Pros / Cons

Pros:
+Nice burst.
+Can tank late game.
+Awesome harrass with Q.(Lane)
+Good in jungle.
+Passive is strong.
+You have strong chances on winning team fights if you kill ad carry/ap carry on your burst or if you hit a lot of enemys and get the damaged and knocked up.

Cons:
-Not that great of a farmer in mid.(Lane)
-In need of mana.
-Slow.(Ganks/Lane)

3. Runes and Masteries

Havn't been testing that lot yet, but these runes and the mastery page has been working out pretty good for me.
-The runes are good because your going a bit more "tank" late game. And the extra AP is just really strong in early game.
-The masteries i think are good, cause it's always nice with extra health and armor, AP and Magic Pen and the Mana per. Lvl + Flash CD is also great.

4. Items

I pick these items for max burst, but also to be able to survive the team tanking. Cause i doubt the enemy team will let you get away with destroying they're carry or any other needed role, soo i think it's good with the Health and the Armor and specialy the "Zhonya's Hourglass" proc is nice for that kind of things.

But i'f they're carry is building up more Health/Magic Resist other items could be better, cause remember theres no "Best" items for any champions. It depends on your own team, enemy team and more.

5. Malphite AP on lane

Summoner Spells: Flash, teleport/ignite/exhaust as Top. Flash, ignite/exhaust in mid.

Malphite AP is good on lanes such as mid or top but you'll need to know who your against first. Let's say they pick Gragas mid. Your burst aint really going to hurt him that much. Or of cause it will but not enough for you too kill him instant, and that can hurt yourself.

Same as top. I'f your vs a champion with a lot of health/magic resist consider not playing him up there.

But i'f your jungler is able to babysit top/mid, Malphite is able to be playing vs any champ, since he can slow and knock up. Soo as said in the "Items" part depends on team, enemy team and more.
