Hey everyone, this is my AP Alistar build that I use at time's if I feel like we're either up against a squashy team. Everything changes either early, mid or even late game but I'm committed to what I build and here it is.

First, you need to make sure you have the right Masteries. As you can tell, I use my Masteries as 9-0-21. It's fairly reasonable for Alistar in opinion.

Second, Runes. You want to make sure that you have the right Runes Marks: 9 Greater Magic Penetration, Seals: 9 Greater Seal of Clarity, Glyph: 9 Greater Glyph of Focus and Quintessence: 1 Greater Quintessence of Insight and 2 Greater Quintessence of Potency. Reason why I chose these Runes is because I believe it makes everything all balance especially in the lanes early game.

Third, Spells. Now depending on you there are a few options. You can go with Flash & Ignite, Flash & Clairvoyance or Flash & Clarity. I personally use Flash & Clarity due to the fact Alistar drains mana like no other. But every Spell is based upon your own opinion and what's best for the team.

Fourth, GAME BEGINS! Okay, everything is based upon what you believe you need, but I believe that getting Boots are best to get with selecting your Q Pop-up first. Reason why is that Alistar is SUPER SLOW so we need some movement speed in order to run away or do Headbutt & Pop-up combo (I'll explain for those that don't know how to do so). I like to pair the Boots with 2-3 Health pots and\or 1 Mana pot. Depending how you're as a solo or team laner items very. You can get Dorians Ring if you'd like, but that's more of a solo item. I play both Passive or Aggressive in lanes depending if I know we can rock the lane. Everyone is different.

....Headbutt & Pop-up combo, for those that don't know how to use ALISTAR correctly forget the whole popup & then ram them back into a tower. No, this how you do! Once in range of a enemy champ and your laning partner pings for an attack hit "R" and quickly follow, and I mean QUICKLY follow with your "Q" from there you shall dash like a 4.2 40 yard dash with a hit stick of a Middle Linebacker that's going to hit HARD!

.....Farming with Alistar depends if you want to play Passive or Aggressive. I do both depending whom I am laning with or against. What I like to do is wait for the minions to be 3/4 health gone & walk in the middle of the wave and use my "Q" to kill those surrounding Alistar. Careful not to push out to far cause if you're laning against someone with range? You're going to get worked.

.....The last 3 items are a either or due to "teh" fact you may never know how the game might turn out so use what you think is best in that situation, but everything else is self explanatory, just go by the build & everything else is your own game play!
