So this is my first build and I wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary. Let's take Riot's favorite tank, and AP him out!

Why This Works

Well basically this, Blitz has some pretty beast ratios for his 2 magic damage abilities (Rocket Grab and Static Field). They both have relatively low cool-downs, especially with your masteries, and once you start really getting the AP going, they can devastate.

But Wait, I'll be too squishy if I go AP!

No way. Rylai's Scepter is going to give you some nice health early game, and with the help of your Tear of the Goddess and later Archangel's Staff, your Mana Barrier will give you the survivability that most caster's don't have.

How to Play AP Blitz

Early game - your arm is going to be the bread and butter of your fights. It'll do awesome burst damage, while pulling that one squishy character into the middle of a hurtin'. By both grabbing them and then using your Power Fist, you'll make sure you keep someone there long enough to feel the pain while you and your teammates gang up. Advice on the arm: Try not to make it too obvious, if you're just running the side of the creep trying to set up, chances are you're opponents are going to notice, too. A better idea is to just keep on firing, you're Tear of the Goddess will make sure you have plenty of mana to keep on going.

Mid-game - you should have some nice AP going, and at this point you wanna be spamming your power fist to get maximum potential from your Tear of the Goddess and Archangel's Staff. Let tons of the creep come your way, and shoot off your Static Field - you'll be one of the best farmers with this ability (its low cooldown lets you continue to spam it and you're AP will make sure every last creep dies by its hand). When team fights start to occur, don't forget the power of separating a weakling from the pack, and getting them all off guard.

Late game - By this stage in the game, you should be getting close to 600+ with your arm and nearly 1000 with your ulti! If you are focused or ganked, don't forget about the power of flash, exhaust, and overdrive. You'll be gone so fast they won't even know who they tried to gank in the first place.

Any advice or comments on this build would be greatly appreciated. Hope to have more builds on the way, enjoy!
