Ap Evelynn Jungle
Hi everyone, I'm TopToughy, and this is a simple but super effective build for playing Evelynn jungle, focusing on many unique passives to successfully assassinate targets. This is my first MOBAfire guide, so it may not be the best.
While there are over 100 champions in League of Legends, no-one is quite like the Widow Maker, Evelynn, as she can easily burst targets down, chase them, and still escape without hardly breaking a sweat, as this guide will demonstrate.

+ Excellent farming skills due to Hate Spike
+ Cheap to build
- Low sustain
- Can be mana hungry
- Needs to get fed to perform well late-game
- No CC
- High cooldown on Agony's Embrace
- Loses strength when silenced/stunned.
I choose these masteries as they reduce damage dealt by monsters, to increase health when ganking, and also health regen and flat health, to aid with Evelynn's lack of sustain. Then, AP is fully utilized in the offensive tree, increasing over-all damage to secure the kill, especially with Executioner , and escaping it alive again with Dangerous Game
Durability Increases health, and so gives additional time in the jungle, as Evelynn lacks sustain, but it is key to return to base with atleast 700 gold.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
Magic Penetration marks help with damage to all champions, especially mid, and are usually more useful than Ability power marks.
Ability power quints help with early damage on Hate Spike to increase clear times.
|All Junglers require Smite to kill red buff, blue bluff, and Evelynn is no exception. As I have said countless times, it is important to reach 700 gold on your first back, to purchase a Tear of the Goddess, which combines well with the passive on Shadow Walk to allow blue buff to be given to midlane. Smite can also be used to steal
, or take them earlier than usual.
Combining Shadow Walk with Smite makes buff stealing easy, and Dark Frenzy can then be used to escape without being killed.
|I take Ignite on Evelynn as her lack of sustain means it is difficult to turret dive to secure kills, and it is important for Evelynn to get many kills early on, so she can snowball, and be useful late-game. Ignite can secure the kills, without the need to turret dive.|
|Flash can be used for quick escapes, same as Ghost. Both are useful, however, neither are really necessary on Evelynn as Shadow Walk and Dark Frenzy both provide escapes, and chases.|
|Exhaust could also be used for escapes, and also has the beauty of aiding you in fights, due to its attack speed reduction, however, it likely won't help as much as Ignite|
If you follow the item build, and simply play Evelynn as every other jungler, you should generally do well. Many players, while knowing Evelynn is stealth, will forget to purchase Vision Ward and will be easily killed by the high burst Evelynn has.
