Introduction
Hello everyone and welcome to my first LoL guide on one of my favourite and most fun to play champions Ezreal
I'm going to go quite in-depth on my play style with Ezreal and why i think he's such a kick-*** Mid laner (with fun snipes across the map).
I would very much appreciate if you tried out this build before actually voting on it, and for most of all, i hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

Runes
Why have i chose these runes? It's pretty self explanatory but i'll tell you anyway!
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power Gives you that extra punch early game for harrass, and could be the difference of you getting a kill or not!
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration Very standard for almost all AP's, the magic penetration is needed and helps alot!
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power Now you can either choose this or 
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist they're both great for Ezreal, it's just personal preference. Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power helps for much late game damage and Greater Glyph of Magic Resist helps for more defence early game against your opposing AP Mid.
Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration These runes help you alot for when you don't have blue buff active, as you do burn your mana quite quickly.
Masteries
You may be confused as too why i havn't gone the standard 21-0-9 for AP mid laners. As that is still viable for Ezreal, i prefer the extra defensive bonuses and early game HP from 21-9-0 which is more likely to save your life for early level ganks and AP burst from the opposing mid-laner. However, like i say it's personal preference!
Items
This is my favourite section of the build, as i have put alot of thought into his items and think they work so well on him, especially as 
Lich Bane scales off his Q, but i'll get to that later!
Why i start with Dorans Ring and not 
Boots of Speed well on most of my AP Mid's i do like having the extra movement speed and sustaion from x3 Health Potions however, on 
Ezreal i dont really feel like i need it. Dorans Ring gives me the extra Mana regen what really helps me to last hit with Mystic Shot at early levels. Also the extra 100hp along with Veteran's Scar makes you alot less squishy for early ganks!
Rabadons Deathcap I love to rush this item on Ezreal before 
Ionian Boots of Lucidity purely because the amount of damage you do with it is insane! Especially with Trueshot Barrage. Im usually getting more kills because i have this item early which therefore is increasing my gold income!
Ionian Boots of Lucidity Now i take these over standard AP 
Sorcerer's Shoes because you do have quite long Cooldowns and this really helps! Your already hitting hard enough as it is and the CDR helps alot more i think!
Lich Bane Now this is probably one of the best items on Ezreal once you have a nice amount of AP. At early level's it really helps you with your close combat burst with an AP auto-attack, however once you learn higher ranks into your Mystic Shot it then scales it off AP, which is giving you an extra AP spell into your burst! Also the movement speed and MGR is lovely against mages!
Voidstaff You really do hit hard with this item! As by now the enemies have probably noticed your doing huge damage with your spells and if they were smart, would of invested into some MGR. But this item shred's right through it, and if you thought you were hitting hard before this, you hit alot harder after it!
Rylais Cyrstal Scepeter Great item for the survivability and the AP! However we're mainly using it for it's on hit slow with any damaging spells, great when spamming Mystic Shot or slowing down a whole team with Essence Flux or Trueshot Barrage.
Zhonya's Hourglass Gives you a great amount of extra damage along with some good survivability of armour. It's active is also a great spell to have, so if you ever get caught out of position or trying to wait for CD's REMEMBER TO USE IT!
Summoner Spells
Why choose Flash when you already have one Arcane Shift?
There are great alternative's to Flash on Ezreal.
You can use 
Cleanse great for getting out of CC and ganks!
Or 
Heal great for baiting enemies and getting surprise kills or just surviving with it!
However i prefer Flash because it's just such a strong summoner spell, i'm usually using my Arcane Shift for damage, therefore if i do get caught out of position or it's on Cooldown then flash is a great escape tool or even to finish someone off with a kill!
Ignite just really adds to your huge damage output as your more of a close combat assassin type mage!
Skill Sequence and Laning
So how do i actually kill people as AP Ezreal?
Depending on what champion your facing your playstyle will be different, but usually the same kind of tactic!
Stay behind creeps and harrass with Essence Flux as it's fairly long range and goes through creeps you'll have no problem giving out high harrass.
Wait untill you've got them to about half hp then Arcane Shift next to them, but MAKE SURE that it will hit him and not a minion (as it fires off to the nearest enemy) then hit him with Essence Flux --> Ignite --> Mystic Shot --> and if he still isn't dead execute him with a Trueshot Barrage.
Most of all, just have fun!
Like i said, please try this build out a few times before voting! I've had great success with it therefore wanted to share it to other people, as i don't see many people play AP Ezreal Mid. Also don't compare my build to an AD one, this is just for AP Mid, they both share different roles therefore should'nt be compared.
