hey there, I tried it out and had lots of fun. Have you considered Malady as an item? I realise this is an old guide so maybe it wasn't around when you wrote this. Greetzzz

I don't do it in Ranked Matches, but I do play AP Miss Fortune for fun in regular games. I mostly end with positive scores, but I still get the haters hahaha. But if she got an AP ratio buff I think she'd play a great AP Miss Fortune. This was just a food for thought :)

Interesting idea but tbh I don't think it belongs in higher levels of play, custom or maybe with a full premade aoe team comp in solo queue I guess it could be fun. Miss Fortune really needs a buff, an AD Mf really just gets outclassed by other ranged AD's at the moment. Been a long time since I saw her in a higher elo/tournament game, which is lame cuz she used to be one of my favorites.

Well explained and actaully better thought out than I expected from what I thought was a troll guide. Guess imma give +1 for freshness. Just to be honest though Imma say it now. AP is not viable. Plz dont do it in ranked situations. There are enough scrub AD's as it is.

I'm pretty sure Bullet Time is affected by AD also, and Q is all ad, plus your passive from W benefits well with AD. I'm definitely going with AD over AP

The problem with AP MF is that her scalings are not very good and her especially her E [which has hte highest scaling] have a very long, non-scaling cd. This added to the fact that all her AP scaling abilities are so easy to dodge, makes me question if AP MF is viable. Why pick AP MF when you can choose another caster, such as Annie/Brand?
However, I haven't tried this yet so I won't cast my vote.
Also, I don't believe being able to single out one person = not a team player. This is very questionable. But again, I won't vote unless I try a build. Who knows? It might work :/

The reason I say that AD Miss Fortune is less of a team fighter is that AD doesn't support the team as well as AP Miss Fortune. AP Miss Fortune has the ability to stay back and hit hard while the melee dps go in and destroy. AD Miss Fortune is more of a single targeter rather than being able to do massive amounts of damage to multiple enemies, so that either you or your teammates can finish. Now I'm not saying that being the one who singles out targets isn't a role. It's huge role. But my point was that it didn't feel like I was utilizing her skills enough late game. Her ultimate did a passable amount of damage, but her Make it Rain was near useless in damage. Now I did list cons on how it may be hard to pull off AP Miss Fortune if your team consist of no disables, but it is still viable in my opinion.

It's true that you can use other AP champions in place of Miss Fortune. I also never said that she is better than other AP Champions. But I can also say that for your question. Why play an AD Miss Fortune when there are much more stronger AD champions out there. In my opinion I think that Miss Fortune needs a slight buff in her part. This build is just my opinion over an AD. Don't get me wrong I find AD great, but in more of a team situation AP Miss Fortune works better. But I find that using skills to kill a champion, especially with AOE skills like Miss Fortune, is more rewarding and helpful to the team, other than being the one who just singles out a target. Vayne, Ashe, and other champions can easily replace the roll of Ranged AD Carry. Not sure if this really answered your question, but if you're still uncertain about some parts feel free to ask.

I'm a little confused why you think an attack damage isn't a team player. Can you tell me why playing an AD carry makes you feel like a loner? I'd think it'd make you feel more dependant because you basically get permanently attatched to the hip of your support.

You also seem to be limiting yourself a bit. Only one (maybe two) of her abilities actually scale well with ability power. Why not play a champion who has ability power scaling on more of their abilities / with better scaling?
