Sunfire should definitely be switched with randuins, it makes Shen's farm a lot easier, more damage, health, and you get to keep your Heart of Gold longer so more money.

Read last part. I try not to use it to initiate in teamfights. For ganks I do. But in team fight, I want to save it to save a carry or disable theirs. To initiate I simply walk into them. But if I have no choice I will initiate with . And ofcourse if someone extends a bit too much I do use it to initiate.
