Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is a build for warwick I have been experimenting recently. It is fun and better late game than the average DPS warwick.
This build only contains tips for 5v5.
I usually start with cloth armor and 5 health pots and get smite to jungle early game. Start at the Eldar Lizard. Later on, sell the cloth armor when it seems right. Make sure to immediately use your health pot once you get hurt. Smite near 700 hp so that you will be able to kill the Eldar Lizard as soon as possible because your hp will be really low. Afterward, go to golems, then wraiths, then wolves. After that recall, get your mana crystal and kill the golem. If the enemy has no jungler, you can go and kill the enemy lizard after that. At level 6, try to start ganking. If the enemy is close, I usually use Hungering Strike (q), then Infinite Duress (r,ult), then q again and w. Since you can now toggle e, make sure to keep it on. After you die, remember that it turns off, so you'll have to turn it back on.
During the mid-game, try to get some ganks if the laning process is still underway. Also, try to always have blue buff. At around level 9 you should be able to solo dragon. You can also try to kill it earlier with an ally. For pushing, make sure to use hunter's call not only on yourself, but your allies. Remember that AP Warwick is a caster. Use hungering strike, then move back and repeat in team fights. When chasing, use hungering strike and make sure to click the enemy again incase you stop following.
Late game is similar to mid-game except for one difference, Lich Bane. Take full advantage of this item and its passive. I usually try to space out my R, Q, and W to take full use of the Lich bane. Charge in with R, then auto attack. Then, Q and auto atack, and lastly use W and auto attack, then Q again. Because of Q's special ability, Warwick is also quite effective against tanks. If there is a strong tank on the enemy team, you may want to target him.
Things to Remember:
- AP Warwick is very prone to stuns.
- When being chased, you may want to use q whenever the cooldown is up and then continue running.
- You are still squishy, take advantage of your burst damage and walk in-and-out of battles.
- Make sure to have blue buff most of the time, especially early game.
- Your Q has 100% spell vamp, take advantage of that.
Good luck and have fun!
