TL;DR?!?!

This guide is for you joining a match in Proving Grounds going All Random All Mid. No time to figure out what items Udyr needs? I'll keep this short and sweet.

Looking at the build, there is a lot of wiggle room for changes Focusing on Health and Damage.
  1. Starting items: Rush Philosopher's Stone + Heart of Gold = Earliest GP5 possible is best.
  2. Shoe selection: Mercury's Treads vs. AP/CC OR Ninja Tabi vs. AD
  3. Early Durability and Damage: Phage + Wit's End
  4. Building Power and Mobility: Trinity Force
  5. Pumping some Health and CDR: Upgrade Philosopher's Stone => Shurelya's Battlesong
  6. Finally, more power and resistance: Atma's Impaler vs. AD / Maw of Malmortius
  7. Personal Preference:

Team Work

Follow-up with your team, Udyr is not the best initiator. Best way to destroy a surrounded enemy is sequencing,

Blazing Stampede> Wilding Claw(For the proc)> Iron Mantle for retaliation or absorb incoming enemy team damage.

Cycle this for another stun or chase.

Summoner Spells

Ghost Heal Flash Barrier Ignite

This choice depends on allies, enemies and comfort level

Skill Sequence

I like to start with 2 in Iron Mantle to absorb pokes as much as possible and 1 in Blazing Stampede for early stunning utility.

I feel Wingborne Storm just doesn't work as well as expected, getting surrounded between enemy champs = bad idea!

Which to max first?
Taking hard pokes? Max Iron Mantle
Getting easy over-extenders? Max Wilding Claw
Providing the CC for your team? Max Blazing Stampede
