First off, I found Alistar, and loved him. He's got funny quotes, great DPS via abilities AND his own punishing basic attacks. As much as I need criticism, keep it gentle and respectful; this is my first MOBAFIRE build. So, read all the way through, and let me know in the comments what you think of this build, and what can be improved. :3 (I also apologize for the lack of pop-out explanations for everything, I'm not good with that stuff yet. DX)

I know you saw the lack of Flash and were like "NOOB!" if you read to this point and decided to let me explain, thank you. This build is made not just for top end 30 people, but also those in lower levels that want to try out Alistar. Nobody said I was the best League of Legends player, and I know I'm not perfect.

Exhaust and Teleport are your go-to, basic ones.

Ghost / Teleport if you work better with a speed up and back-to-laning mentality.

Flash / Teleport if you want to get back in-lane swiftly as well as having a wall-jump for ganks.

If you're low-level and are not sure if you want to go without that little extra heal, go with Heal / Teleport.

Another option, if you want to make sure nobody gets away, is Flash and Exhaust.

Although the items are pretty self-explanatory, I'd like to point some things out.

If you're having trouble with gold, build into Philosopher's Stone and rush Shurelya's Reverie. If you find yourself being teamed up on, call for help and grab a Doran's Shield until you have the money to replace it.

Guardian Angel. This one is one I'd like to talk about. If you want the out-there ressurection to get back in fast, grab Guardian Angel. I realize some would prefer a Banshee's Veil, but my next build will cover MR.

The Mastery Tree I have provided is purely optional. If you think you'd prefer some other Mastery, let us all know in the comments section; help me refine this build. :3 What I took, I took with the mentality that I AM the tank, no exceptions. I take damage, I intercept, I block skillshots. I -AM- THE TANK.

Simple. It covers all the tank-y bases, and if you don't want to play Alistar as a tank, you're looking at the wrong guide, sorry. :/

Pros:
-High Health
-High Armor
-Chase Power
-Low Cooldowns

Cons:
-Prone to getting cocky and overextending.
-Mess up your combo or don't get into position before Headbutting and you'll fail that gank.
-People will swear at you for being a Bawse. (Wait, is that a Con?)
-Friend Request Spam / Ignore Spam, if you play right. (Again, is that a Con?)
-Gold-Eater. He requires a ton to get a full build, not including extra health/mana potions or wards, if you're buying wards. (I got it easy with just a few extra potions and no wards.)
-Ummm.... I dunno. He's a cow? (You can't milk those!)

Keep in mind that if you use this build, you are an ARMOR tank. Incoming Skillshot? EVERYONE MOVES. Incoming Carry with uber range? INTERCEPT+PULVERIZE. Teamfight? INTERCEPT/INITIATE AND NUKE CARRY; Dodge dat skillshot.
