Introduction

Hi, guys. This is my first guide in Mobafire and this may seem an odd guide for you. But i have been playing with Ashe for a long time, and she was my main since lvl 5 to lvl 30. I hope this guide can help you understand Ashe and play her well.

Items

The first item i get would be Doran's sword and i do not think i need to explain why. It's just essantial for Ashe. Then Berserker's Greaves, some people like getting Boots of Swiftness, I would not recommand it early game, because she just needs attack speed. Combined with her Q skill it works very well to slow down the enemy and for her team to catch up and get the kill. Almost all the guides i've seen and all the Ashe players i've seen build attack damage first. Again, I recommand attack speed, of course and movement speed. Zeal is really perfect for Ashe because she needs critical, attack speed and movement and Zeal (later Phantom Dancer) has all. Then depends on the game and yourself, you can buy either B.F. sword or Vampiric Scepter because Ashe is squishy, life steal would be a huge help, or if you want to build attack damage, buy B.F. sword. Vampiric Scepter is good enough for life steal and you would get Infinity Edge and then Phantom Dancer. After that you will see a huge change of ur Ashe, no matter how squishy she was, how much she could not get kill, SHE WILL GET IT ALL NOW. And then buy The Bloodthirster, Last Whisper (armor penetration, very good when ur hitting tanks) and The Black Cleaver. Ashe is squishy, but a well-played Ashe isn't.

Skill Sequence

Every Ashe guide tells you to master W (Volley) first. I DON'T THINK SO! Even thought Volley shoots multiple arrows, it only hits the ones at the front, which are usually minions. And it wastes a lot of mana. Also Volley's frost shot lvl depends on Ashe's Q skill, the whole point of Ashe being a CARRY and her being so squishy is because SHE HAS SLOW. How can you not master her Q first? It's good when ur chasing enemies, good when ur trying to slow enemies from approaching ur teammates and even good when ur RUNNING AWAY!(hit and run hit and run. requires fast hands and good control.) Secondly I master E (Hawkshot), why? Volley is useless, you need to see enemies from far away and MONEY! You get bonus gold when you kill minions, how can you not learn it!!
