Items

I'm calculating the maximum dps you can do with an auto attacker like ashe. If you like some theory crathing heres what I found out.

Maximum damage per slot item = 100 ad (Charged Bloodthirster)

MAXIMUM obtainable AD = 600

Maximum attack speed per slot item = 55% (Phantom Dancer, not counting on sword of divine 60% it doesnt fits our needs and PD gives more dps overall with crit)

MAXIMUM obtainable AS = 330

The possible combinations are:

300 | 165

100 | 275
0 | 330

What combination is optimal you might ask?

From League of Legends Forums,
"Ashe - Lvl 1: 0,658 - Increase per level: 0,021941 - Lvl 18: 1,031 - 223% for +2.5 Attack Speed"

Ashe AS at lvl 18 is 1.
Lets assume Ashe Base AD is 97 (rounded).

Attack speed formula is:

AS = BaseAS * (100% + ItemsAS%)

So:

AD | AS% | AS | Final DPS (Damage*Attacks per second)

600 | 0 | 1 * (100) = 100 | 697* 1.0
500 | 55 | 1 * (100+55) = 155 | 597* 1.55
400 | 110 | 1 * (100+110)= 210 | 497* 2.1
300 | 165 | 1 * (100+165)= 265 | 397* 2.65 (ABOVE AS CAP NOT OBTAINABLE) so 2.5
200 | 220 | 1 * (100+220)= 320 | 297* 2.5

All below is with values of AS above AS cap so worthless
100 | 275 | 0.658 * (100+275+60)= 286,23 (capped) | 197*
0 | 330 | 0.658 * (100+330+60)= 322,42 (capped) | 97*

SO in the END: Maximum dps is 497*2.1=1043 dmg per second

So we can resume that Maximum AD worth getting is 400 (through items)
So we can also resume that Maximum AS worth getting through items is 110%!

Shooting that numbers will give the best possible dmg. (If you can fit armor penetration and 100% crit while being near those numbers it will be optimal)
