Introduction


WELCOME!

This is my first guide but thanks to jhoijhoi's guide I hope this will be a good one :)

You can find her guide here.

Ashe is one of the recommended Attack Damage Carries (ADC). She is easy to use and most players start with her as their first champion. This guide will show you how to use Ashe at a higher level.

Masteries are quite simple. Take all the ones on the right of the offence section :P

Sunder along with Executioner will give you that extra boost when things aren't going your way.

Ran out of pots? No worries! Vampirism is here for you! If you decide to go with Doran's Blade it will give you a reasonable amount of life steal until you buy the Vampiric Scepter which will help with the life steal scaling towards late game.

Swiftness gives you the movement boost at the beginning. You have to admit that ad carries have a horrible starting movement speed of about 300.

Meditation will allow you to regenerate that mana you lose from spamming Volley

Greater Mark of Desolation: This allows for early game domination in your lane. The armor penetration will do a lot more damage than the other team's ADC. This will cause them play passively thus them falling behind with farming

Greater Seal of Armor: The armor really helps early game. For example if we go with other or no runes we will have a hard time making good exchanges. Well at least I do. This makes me get the feel of Graves' True Grit.

Greater Glyph of Attack Speed: This allows for easy last hitting. It won't matter much late game but it will help you GET to late game.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation: Armor Penetration again! Like I said for Greater Mark of Desolation This will help if the enemy jungler decides to buy Ninja Tabi.




Why not Greater Glyph of Armor? I usually use Glyphs for defense. If you would like to change it up go nuts :)

You can switch out Greater Mark of Desolation for Greater Mark of Attack Damage. This will help with the early game damage because Attack Damage carries usually have a low base damage.

OR

You can switch out Greater Quintessence of Desolation for Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage. I prefer this rather than the marks because this is cheaper. But if money ain't a problem go ahead and buy the marks. You can also have both Physical damage marks and quints.

Summoner Spells

Summoner Spells are very important on Ashe.

I prefer to take :



Explanation: Ignite well help you take on those 1v1 fights you have against the enemy ADC when both the supports are not there. I don't suggest going 1v1 with the enemy Jungler because they tend to be off-tanks meaning they can soak up damage and do just as much damage at the same time. Olaf for example will rip Ashe apart with his Reckless Swing.




Other options:

This will help if you are going head first in to the fight which I don't reccommend but if Karthus used Requiem Heal might save you.


The enemy carry is more fed than you by some miracle? Bam! Exhaust and 70% of their damage gone. GG Ashe


Your Enchanted Crystal Arrow is available? Fire it from base and Teleport to nearby minion tower or ward. 3.5 second stun on the enemy allows for a free kill :)

Unique Skills/Farming

So early game you start off with Boots of Speed and 3 Health Potions. If you find it hard to last hit the minions go ahead and buy Doran's Blade. The 100 health will give you more sustainability in lane and the life steal will help. You won't notice it but it actually works!




IMPORTANT:This is a trick I've been using and it works most of the time
Remember Ashe's passive?



Before the minions are spawned your passive starts working at it and you will reach 100% critical chance. Try not to leash for your Jungler. Get you AP mid to do that. You can protect the jungle but do not auto attack the monsters or minions. If you get in to lane before the time reaches 45 seconds you are most probably safe. Stay on the bush closer to you turret and towards the edge that is close to you turret as well. If the other team comes in with 2 people you will likely die. So keep your distance but try not to be seen. The creeps come along and the other team carry comes out to farm. Their support will probably stay in the bush. You have a time limit of about 7 seconds. What you do is you wait for the enemy ADC to come into range of you Volley and make sure no minions are in the way. Try not to put yourself in the way so that the enemy support will allow for an easy kill. With the 100% critical chance you fire a quick basic attack followed by a Volley. This will drop the enemy ADC's hp by about 75%. This will give you the upper hand because they will be playing passively from then on.




Try to last hit as much as possible (Obviously). Don't spam your Volley as soon as it comes off cool down. You will run out of mana too fast. Use your Volley when you know you can hit at least one of the champions along with killing a few minions.

If you farmed well, when you go back to base for the first time you should be able to buy Berserker's Greaves. If you farmed very well and you managed to get a couple of kills you should also buy B. F. Sword. Make sure to grab Health Potions every time you come back to base.



This item will give you life steal to get back in the game. If you get focused down but you managed to flash out just farm the creeps at your tower and you don't have to go back to base.



I want to say bread and butter but I won't because it is used to much. This item is your rice and curry. The critical damage will get your opponents running but they can't because of your Frost Shot.



Well this item adds to your collection of critical strikes and will make you hit critical strikes almost every hit!



This will give you crazy amounts of life steal. Make sure to stack it up to +40 attack damage all the time.




This item has saved me countless amount of times. This can also drastically change the gameplay and give your team the upper hand. For example you take out the enemy carry and their ap carry and get a double kill. But you get focused by their jungler/bruiser and you die. But wait! you come back to life and get revenge from the bruiser and tank then get the support! Wow Pentakill. There you get free game win at late game.




Sometimes you might want to buy Guardian Angel before The Bloodthirster. This allows you to survive in team fights and do your job. Also make sure to buy Elixir of Agility, Elixir of Brilliance, Elixir of Fortitude and sometimes Oracle's Elixir when you are done your full build.

Team Work

So as you move on to the mid and late game you will come across many team fights. As the ad carry your goal is to get a pentakill! Well you focus down their ad carry, their ap carry and their bruiser/jungler. DO NOT EVEN TOUCH THE TANK! Sure you can get their support if their damage dealers are dead or are not on the scene. No really get that penta kill!


Why should I not attack the tank?

Ever heard of Thornmail? Damn son they will screw you over! You will be receiving 30% of the damage you deal and that is a lot! Only focus the tank if they are alone and you have at least 1 teammate with you.

Summary

Ashe is very easy to play but isn't chosen because high skill cap players use ad carries such as Vayne, Graves, Ezreal, and Kog'Maw. I've been playing Ashe pretty much my whole League of Legends career :P

I've never lost a lane with this build. Sure I've lost a couple of games but I wouldn't say it was my fault. Make sure you don't dive when you are all fed because greed is the key to death.
