Introduction

Hello, my name is Armsel from the Philippines server. Let's say I've played Jax for more than 5 years now, this CHAMP helped me a lot climb the ladder, I hope he does it for you too!

Runes

I take 18dmg and 9armor for the early game advantage, Jax only struggles in early game.

Masteries

My masteries are the ultra offensive 29-0-1 build, followed by the standard jungling masteries, I recommend 29-0-1 because Jax doesn't really need this "jungling masteries".

Items

Rush your devourer as soon as possible, when you get that 450 gold, immediately get your first item that gives you extra 15+ gold for large monster kill, trust me, you'll going to need it really early.

Focus on rushing your devourer stacks and don't die. I carry games with this strategy.

Skill Sequence

At all times you want to max out W first and then Q second. You don't really need to invest more points on your E just for the cooldown reduc.
Get your ultimate at the standard 6, 11 and 16.

Spells

If jungling, I recommend Flash and Smite, these are the best spells for him.
If top, I recommend getting flash and ignite, only if the enemy team has those "pesky heals" and you just want to deal true damage.
Flash and Teleport are still viable, but it doesn't fit my playstyle.

Ranked Play

Just remember this young fella, don't gank a losing lane.
Only gank if the enemy is overextended and/or you can secure a kill.

You can get to Master with this mentality too!

Pros / Cons

Just stay away from Tanks/vayne and just DON'T initiate a fight. You're better as a damage dealer than an initiator.

Creeping / Jungling

Focus on your own farm and don't mind others.

Unique Skills

Sometimes, you want to save your Q for the enemies escape, early to mid game.
As late game enters, you can use your Q pretty much all the time, it only has a 4 second cooldown.
