Introduction

Building Riven was a lot different than most of the builds i come up with. I had a lot of success out of the Atmog's build and its because Riven is based on a hybrid of Damage and Survivability. Making her beefy of course makes the champion harder to kill added with atmog's will give her insane damage.

Atmog's adds 2% of the champion's maximum health. Which isn't shown above on the stats!

Items

Doran's Blade <$475> Gives 100health, 25attack damage, and 3% life steal. Great starting item but can be switched with a doran's shield depending on how comfortable you feel with either item.

??Merc Treads or Ninja Tabi??

Merc Treads <$1200> Useful for heavy CC teams. Gives MR, Tenacity, and that Movement speed
Ninja Tabi <$850> Great for teams that have tons of Auto attack champions like Master Yi and Ashe. Tabi gives 30 armor as well.

Warmog's <$3000> Gives a lot more health and some health regen. This is needed for the Atmog's build

Frozen Mallet <$3250> This item isn't needed but it does give extra health and a little bit of attack damage. The passive is great on this item because it slows your enemies! but Riven doesn't really need the FM because Riven is so mobile.

Hexdrinker <$1800> Great item that gives MR and attack damage. If you would take Magic Damage that would leave you at less than 30% of your Maximum Health, you first gain a shield that absorbs 300 Magic Damage for 4 seconds. 60 second CD

Blood Thirster <$3000> Great item that gives a decent amount of life steal and attack damage.

Infin. Edge <$3830> Gives a decent amount of crit and Damage output. The Infin. Edge is really expensive but can prove to be worth it.

Banshee's Veil <$2715> Great item for stopping enemy abilities and the veil comes back every 45 seconds.

Youmuu's Ghostblade <$2687> I find this a great item for Riven since it gives a 15% CDR bonus with 20armor pen, 30 attack damage, and 15% crit chance. The active increase your movement speed by 20% and attack speed by 50% for 4 seconds.

Summoner Spells

Flash: Long CD but can be used to get a kill and get away from death.

Exhaust: Great for catching up to someone or slowing them down long enough to finish them off. Also great for reducing an enemies attack damage by 70%

Ghost: Great spell with a lower CD. Take this if you don't like taking flash to much.
