Introduction

I've been toying a while with the idea of trying to see how far the item system could change a character, and in this effort, I've decided to try out Attack Damage Annie. She has a nice long range on her autoattack, and has the lovely passive of stunning every 5th skill used. With the new ability cooldown boots, I figure we can make something interesting.

Items

The name of the game here is attack speed, ability cooldowns, and attack damage.

I start off with Doran's Blade to give some health for a little survivability, and some life steal to help Annie stay in the lane longer. Since she gets mana refunded on any last hit with disintegrate, having some lifesteal will help her stay in the lane even longer if she gets harassed.

Next, I build the first part of the Nashor's Tooth by building Stinger. The attack speed buff will help the lifesteal keep Annie in the lane a little longer.

Next, I build the new Ionian Boots. They aren't in the item builder yet, so for now I have Sorc's Shoes there... but I really want the Ionian Boots instead. The cooldown buff helps get to our stun every 5th skill.

After, I finish the Nashor's Tooth so I can get the AP (since we still are hitting with our AP scaling skills) and some mana regen. We also get our ability cooldowns reduced even further. We should be able to spam disintegrate pretty quickly now.

Next up, I build the Hextech Gunblade. With that we get some AD, AP, and some more life steal and spell vamp.

Next, I build the Frozen Mallet, it gives some health for some more survivability, slows the targets on hit, and gives up some AD.

Next, I build the Sword of the Divine, which gives us a large attack speed buff, and does an additional 100 damage every fourth attack.

Last, I build Maldred's Bloodrazor if the game lasts this long. More AD, more attack speed, and has the nice side effect of doing 4% of their max health as magical damage. This means anyone you hit, no matter how much health they have, can be brought down in a predictable number of hits.

Summary

I haven't given this alot of playtime yet, but from what I've done has been entertaining anyway. Feel free to give it a shot and let me know how it could be better or what your experience is like with Attack Damage Annie!
