Summary

Wukong is a pure attack and critical damage champion. Some say wukong is weak champion and have horrible skill. Other say that Garen's spin can already outmatch Wukong's ulti.

This might seem true, but if you look at closely, the damage is in wukong ulti is greater than garen. Not only that, Wukong has skill to support his ulti, normal fighting stragety would be dashing in with nimbus strike, hitting with crushing blow, then using the ulti to take them down. If you 1on1 any DPS champion, you can definitely finish them with this combo. If you can't, quickly chase them down or run with decoy if you feel like you will get gank.

He is not a very good early champ, but when play well, can become a excellent assassin later on in the game. Start off by building armor penetration runes and attack runes. You could edit some of attack runes and replace it with either attack speed or critical runes, but i prefer to go full attack.

Starting off

Don't assume Wukong is a good early start off champion. His gameplay require patience and strategies. I start off buying boot, 2 hp pot, and 1 mp pot and then head off to bot lane (cus wukong can't solo). preferably, choose a good harass lane or a support heal lane partner, because you guys will be doing defense strategy until you are level 4.

If you feel the need to buy more HP bot, then this is the reason why you get teleport. Shop fast and teleport back into your lane.

After that, start harassing with nimbus strike, crushing blow, and then decoying it out. Slowly lower their hp to about half while having yours as high as possible. when both your lane partner is ready with your ulti, start initiating. Go with the strategy I mention in the summary but add ignite to the champ you are going for, Nimbus, crushing blow, ulti, and then finishing off the weakest.

In late games

After about 20-30 minute into the game, i can assume you guys have bought the ghost blade and black cleaver. Your attack damage and attack speed should be pretty decent by now.

When going into group fight of ganking a unsuspecting champion, activate the effect of ghostblade. Along with nimbus strike (and black cleaver if you have it), your attack speed should be 1.8 or higher. Quickly finish off all the squishy and then aim for the tanks. IF you think you are getting kill first, quickly cancel your ulti and decoy out, then go back into the fight once they are off you.

after buying items up to infinity edge, you should be able to critical more easier. start using your crushing blow to kill turret fast along with ghost blade, take all jungling monster, etc.

Using decoy effectively

Do not use decoy as a skill to damage enemy, it is not what its use for. After reaching level 4 and getting the skill, harass constantly and decoying out.

One way to use decoy is to move between 2 bushes in top and bot lane quietly. When your opponent would think you are on this bush, nimbus them on that bush and taking them out with ulti.

Another way would be using it to support your ulti. If the opponent is out of range for nimbus, decoy and move close to him before your stealth wore off, then nimbus and ulti.

Of course, it can also be use to trick a enemy when you are being chase. go into a bush, and decoy out the way you came from or into another bush. There is another effective way to escape, You could pretend to use decoy and stay in a inanimate position to tell them you used decoy, but I can never get it to work because of the stupid auto attack which I cant seem to find a way to deactivate....
