Hey Azier. I recently started playing Talon and one thing I noticed was that he is too mana reliant early to mid game. Since most mid laners are ranged, farming with rake is the only option but I mostly find myself running out of mana. Your build doesn't use crystalline flask. So, could you please give me some tips on how to farm while managing mana effectively? I also want to know in case I have a mana-reliant jungler in my team. :)

Hello Archstryker (I am not Azier)

I have found that seeing the cooldown of Tiamat is 10 seconds, you can use Tiamat to ensure you get all the CS you need and constantly abuse it since it uses no mana and regens fast. Hope this helps that's what I've been doing, went 14/0 a few games ago

Ehh.. Corrupted Potion with cookies? wtf?
also, corrupted potion is a mega noob trap for 500 gold. Guide is barely indepth, just explains abilities and doesn't explain how to pull off any plays etc.

Wow this is actually really helpful, I was planning on purchasing Talon as my next champ either before or after Darius (Long live Noxus!) and I wanted to see if he was any good because I kind of had doubts after playing a few matches against...less than stellar Talon's. They basically were playing Talon all wrong if this guide is to be believed, they tried to fight me straight up instead of hiding and then using the super burst to **** me up and then leave.

I really like the fact that Talon is an actual Assassin rather than just a speedy warrior type, although Cutthroat really does need to just straight up stun and interrupt channels, would make an already good champ just a little bit better.

As for the build itself I actually like it a lot, although I have to ask...is Statik Shiv viable on this? Because I kind of love that item because of not only the AOE but the fact that the AOE can crit. Combine that with the Infinity Edge's critical attack bonus and it could **** someone up! Plus where it does Magic Damage it can let you hit really hard because most people will probably build armor when fighting you and won't expect the 100 AOE Magic damage (Possibly More), plus the Attack Speed bonus (40%) is nice. Plus Blinks and dashes count towards build stacks for said Shiv, meaning 1 Cutthroat can get you tons of stacks, add that to the extra 6% Move Speed bonus you get from having it and this item could be fantastic...or completely ****. :P

But yeah point is, the build is great. Not often you see all AD items on a champ and not a single Defense Item.

While I have never tried it, I doubt Shiv would be any good on Talon, as it does not scale his abilities. Sure, it does have the Statickk Shank passive which does deal a good amount of damage, but the attack speed goes wasted, as either way, Talon will land two AAs in the same amount of time with his Q. Shiv fits champions that you described as "Speedy Warriors-" fast burst, but more sustained (and thus not as powerful as Talon's... usually) damage. Champions like Yasuo, for example. They also benefit greatly from Attack Speed, which Talon doesn't (much).
Anyways, thanks for the +1 and see you out in the Fields of Justice!
