Xin Zhao Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Before we begin with the guide, i'd like to say that this is my first guide for any game ever. This means that it isn't going to be as detailed or (insert another word for detailed here) as other guides on here.
I'd also like to point out that i'm not going to include a rune section here. This is mainly due to the fact that I'm(at the time of the writing of this guide) only level 17 and haven't bought a single rune yet. This is because all of the good runes are at level 20+. The runes shown above are what I think i would buy. when i get there i will include the rune section.
On to the actual guide now. This guide is based on my personal playing experience only. I have found the setup to be quite good, especially late game. With the attack speed at 2.5 (with second ability activated) and 365 damage per attack you'll be tearing apart almost anybody.
As i'm lvl 17 I obviously haven't got all the mastery points yet so i put what I will be getting. I'm not going to be putting any points in defence because Xin isn't a defensive character. I'd rather increase his attack by a little bit rather than his defence a little bit.
And if someone does comment on this build can you tell me if it's spelt defence or defense?
I've always spelled it with a 'c' not an 's' but my laptops telling me its with an 's'. Thanks
Items / Summoner spells
I know this item guide is very expensive but if you get a few kills early on and can get the cash in, by late game you will rape left right and center.
Early game I always get beserkers greaves. It just seems mandatory. If you wish to skip them then go straight on to the Phantom Dancers. I choose Phantom Dancer over The Black Cleaver because there are more recipe options for the PD than TBC so you can be that little bit better before you get the main item.
From here out it's more or less AD until the Frozen Mallet. I get the Frozen mallet before the second PD purely for the health. An extra 700 health is a boost to anybody no-matter the champion. If you find yourself dying too much get the Mallet before the Bloodthirster.
As for the Spells i use Exhaust and ignite. They are both mostly for tanks. Exhaust makes sure that they aren't going anywhere and Ignite is for the 1/100 chance that they get away. Obviously they aren't Just for tanks if used on anyone else. they shouldnt be getting out alive, especially with a partner.
All in all this is a VERY basic guide. It is how I use him and will continue to until I come across something that I like more. Any and all feedback is positive and i will try to get the most out of all of it. Thanks for reading and have fun playing LoL
