My first time Anivia (yes, i used this guide) was 27/9/(i forgot how many assists :P )!!! It was awesome! Thanks to you, Anivia is my favorite champion now! Unfortunately, i lost, but my teammates were AFK. Oh well, i guess such things happen from time to time. Great guide!

This has helped me a lot with how to play as Anivia. It's still difficult to get the tactics exactly right, but with a bit of practice I think I will be ok. cheers. x

Abyssal Scepter doesn't really work on Anivia anymore after the range nerf. Unless you're building really tanky, so you can get into the middle of things, Athene's Unholy Grail is a better item for MR.

Very informative guide and well-deserved 1st place.
However i'd like to share some of my thoughts with you about it.
1) Why spent 4 points in Mental Force ? THe AP it provides makes no real difference in early phase and will make no difference in the later game too. I think you should get 3 points in Brute Force and 1 in Butcher to help your last hitting and farming. Also Havoc is a pretty useless mastery but I see tht you give points there just to climb down the tree.

2) I strongly disagree with Clarity. I know that Anivia is really mana hungry but given the masteries from the utility tree and the runes you suggest, one should be fine. Once you get blue buff it's all history. I suggest changing it for Ignite or Teleport.

3) I think staring with Boots, 2 Health Potions and 1 Mana Potion is way better than investing money on Doran's Ring. Anivia has very low MS and boots right of the bat are going to help you a lot. Pots will also help you stay in lane better.

4) After the recent nerf in Abyssal Mask I don't think it is good on Anivia any more. You may want to change it for Athene's Unholy Grail or Banshee's Veil.

5) It would be great if you added a match up section and a section on tips and tricks.

That's all and I hope I helped. Again good job in this great guide of yours.

I think in second build u can also buy Rod Of Ages after charlice of harmony. This makes anivia harder to kill and gets really a lot of AP. After it rabbadon or athene unholy grail. Maybe make third build with ROA in.

I have an anivia guide, and I have to say, this is a better build for beginners and the guide is better made than mine XD.

Hello! Nice guide. I would consider building spell vamp somewhere, with Will of the Ancients. Anivia has huge burst so she can heal for a lot, as well as constant AoE damage with her ult. Clear a big minion wave with 1/3 health and you can be back to full, then you can fight with greater safety and not have to go back to base if you don't need items or anything.

Great guide but in most cases for your second build i would trade Abyssal Scepter for Lich Bane because you already got the mag pen from Void Staff and Lich gives you the passive for when you wanna last hit with your auto for massive damage. Also the multiplier is great too!

Anivia is my main mid aswell, and I'm curious why you start with doran's ring? I find it much better to start with Blue gem + 2 health potions, so you can rush catalyst the protector. The quicker you get catacalyst, the longer you can stay in lane.

I don't mean to say you're wrong. Doran's ring is okay, but its not as good as blue gem and health potions to start
