The great thing about Blitzcrank is the fact he can be anywhere on the map and mop up any guy in his way. He has a wide range of attacks from stun to speed. If you need him somewhere on the map he can be there in a hurry and ready to take care of any problems.
Starting out you want to decide where the best spot for blitzcrank will be. If you already have a great middle guy team up with a DPS character and head for a side spot. The great gift giving to Blitz is that he can kill at level one. Let your team get drove back towards your tower and wait for the right moment. Stand just south (or north depending on location) of your minion mob and make sure you have a clear line of sight behind the enemy minions. When the champion comes into view and starts attacking your mob grab him and pull him into sight of your tower and hit hard. Congrats free money and exp. now prepare to push on towards next tower.
Tower diving is easy for blitzcrank since her has high life and can use overdrive to make a dash out of harms way. That pesky Veiger hiding behind his tower, charge and watch as he runs in fear, do not grab and smash the champion when you are past the tower until you are out of the towers range, after that feel free to grab them as they run in fear and enjoy .
mid - late game
By now your life and attack is high enough to start taking on the rest of the towers that you already have not destroyed. The champions in the game stay away from you and keep there distance. Try going through the jungle and coming from behind the enemy. When a person is pulled into the bushes and out of his currant battle it will confuse him and give him the advantage you need to kill over and over again. Play blitz half in half out of bushes so he can grab and not be targeted. Rush towers and as the other team comes pull them into your team and focus on the tower as your team laughs and gets a free kill. Your static field kills minion mobs in one blast helping you farm the last of the gold you need.
Gold comes easy to Blitzcrank, use your special at need and farm for gold. His high life keeps him around longer to level up faster. Keep the combos coming till the target is dead, rocket grab - power fist - overdrive - static field.
With my new AP build Blitz the 400 plus AP on him goes into his Attacks and you can take major damage mid to late game.
Blitzcrank fires his right hand, if it encounters an enemy unit it will stun them and deal 60 / 120 / 180 / 240 / 300 (+80% of ability power) magic damage while he pulls them to himself.
This ability uses 80% of your Ap so 400 AP means 320 attack goes into your grab move cousing 620 damage and bringing your guest into a party of champions to dine on.
Blitzcrank super charges himself to increase Movement Speed by 16 / 20 / 24 / 28 / 32% and attack speed by 30 / 38 / 46 / 54 / 62% for 8 seconds. However, when this effect ends his movement speed is decreased by 25% for 3 seconds.
Great for stomping another champions face in when he thinks he is going to get away, the best time to use this is when you need to get back to your lane fast and to chase champions for the kill.
Blitzcrank charges up his fist to make his next attack deal double his total attack damage and pop his target up in the air.
usefull to get some heat off of you and stay alive long enough to use one of your AP spells to finish the job.
Passive: Lightning arcs off of Blitzcrank to hit a random nearby enemy for 100 / 200 / 300 (+25% of ability power) magic damage every 2.5 seconds.
Active: Deals 250 / 375 / 500 (+100% of ability power) and silences surrounding enemy units for 0.5 seconds. The passive is not in effect during the cooldown.
The cream of the crop as they would say, and with 100% ability being used with this shocking ability you can easily clean the field. 400 AP with 500 already in the max level makes you hit for 900 damage that can hit all within range..... now who wants to go to battle.
