these are especially good early game when your mana pool isn't ridiculous so you can continue to use your abilities. blitz with no mana is useless

CDR is bad *** on blitz. the pull has an ungodly cool down so some CDR goes a long way.

QUINTS

Greater Quintessence of Gold
as support you wont be getting any cs so this with your Pstone should take care of your gold. not to mention all those kills you and your carry will be getting :]

DEFENSE
grab Summoner's Resolve if you take heal spell.

always take Veteran's Scars

UTILITY
its very important that you take 3 points in Strength of Spirit . because end game you're gonna have a ton of mana and this really makes your hp regen go up alot.

i like to take 1 point in Intelligence because you dont get full cdr with this build so it helps a little.

take 4 points in Swiftness because blitz is movement speed based. this helps you get in position to pull them. or if you're faster than them you can just run right up and Power Fist

Expanded Mind gives you more mana for your Mana Barrier so always take it

and take both Greed and Wealth got gp10 and extra gold for a Regrowth Pendant and a sight ward

if you decide againt Wealth id max Awareness

i max Power Fist first. it reduces the cooldown and this is your main cc ability because it is available most often. in a long enough team fight you can use it 3 or 4 times.

max Overdrive 2nd. this boosts your movement and attack speed.

as AD blitz these 2 abilities are your main damage source also.

Rocket Grab and Static Field are good for your burst but primarily used for cc.

Exhaust and Flash should be your first choice.

Heal and Flash if your carry doesn't take heal.

Flash is a great tool to use to land Rocket Grab either flashing away and pulling them to you (under the turret especially) and to pull people who are running from you that are out of range.

Exhaust or Heal

Exhaust is good for after Rocket Grab and Power Fist. it is also good for saving your carry

Healis good to use to keep your carry alive. its great for turret diving. its funny to use it right after Mana Barrier

Boots of Swiftness
only boots i get on blitz regardless of anything

Manamune
gives you good mana and regen. also gives a nice ad boost!

Trinity Force
this is blitz best item imo. the sheen is crucial. zeal so you can get in position for the pulls and the phage giving you one more cc... blitz with more cc is funny :P hp is nice too.

Frozen Heart
best armor item hands down. fat mana. fat cdr. fat armor. nuff said.

Banshee's Veil
best mr for blitz. spell shield is great for when you pull someone they cant retaliate. mana and hp is always a plus!

Bloodthirster
this should take your 6th item slot. you should be super tanky with this build. and your mana shield should be off the chart. this is great for low hp baiting because with a tri and your BT you should be able to **** anyone up.

Shurelya's Battlesong
if you arnt feeling the BT and you think your team can use some utility this is great for rushing in. also good for setting up pulls.

This is where blitz gets tricky. knowing what to get and when is crucial to a strong blitz. you will get the same items just in different order.

what and when you get items is based on your team comp and your gameplay.

Your team has no tank / initiate
you have 2 options early.
buy Tear of the Goddess and later turn it into a Manamune
or
buy a Sheen
after this you will want to rush Frozen Heart and Banshee's Veil


You and your carry are dominating early
rush a Trinity Force as fast as you can

Early Game

most of what you're doing early game is waiting in the bush trying to zone them off xp. Always be looking for opportunities to Rocket Grab

after you pull them just hit e and you will automatically knock them up. once you use your combo you and your carry will need to decide to just harass and continue farming or chase them down and kill them. IF YOU WONT KILL THEM DO NOT CHASE! you will just end up taking too much dmg.

there are 2 ways to use your Rocket Grab
1. pull them in between the creeps and knock them up
2. Overdrive out of the bush and Power Fist them. then Rocket Grab them back into you as they run away

both of these are extremely effective

post 6 your combo will either be
Rocket Grab Power Fist Static Field Overdrive
or
Overdrive Power Fist Static Field Rocket Grab Power Fist


you can use Static Field and/or Power Fist to cc the enemy as your carry runs away also.

the reason i play ad>ap is because imo he scales better with ad.

Power Fist does double dmg and with a Sheen or [trinity force]] thats about triple dmg. not to mention it has an incredibly short cooldown.

Overdrive gives you over 50% atk speed also making him have a strong burst with your combo and still allowing you to deal dmg. perhaps your carry dis-enaged or died or isn't there you can still secure the kill alone.

ap blitz only have Static Field as his only source of dmg. and i dont like relying on Rocket Grab as a main dmg source because its not that easy to hit and it has a long cooldown.

Static Field and Rocket Grab are reliable sources of cc and burst dmg with no ap. and with no ad i feel Power Fist and Overdrive are a complete waste.

above i have 2 builds shown. one is ad support and the other is tank support. either ay you get the same items at the end of the game. except Shurelya's Battlesong and Bloodthirster depending on late game.

build 1
this takes Greater Mark of Desolation and Exhaust. and build ad before tankyness.

build 2
this takes Greater Mark of Armor and Heal. and builds tankyness before dmg.

thats really the only real difference. you can also mix and match to suit your teams needs.
