Blitzcrank is a one of the most versatile heros in the game in my opinion. Due to his ability to grab an opponent, he can basically make or break anything from a 2v2 to a 5v5 situation. Have your enemy eating a few shots from a tower and you'll most certainly score a kill or atleast get an assist.

Blitzcrank can definately be played in different ways; tank/support, most definately one of the best co-gankers and low armor gankers by playing either a nuker if you focus on Ability Power or damage. This build is going to mainly focus on pure damage output with added crit for your Power Fist and following Overdrive epic pwnage.

BUILD: 22/0/8, I know some will say go 9/0/21, but this is just my personal choice.

SPELLS: Exhaust is for me just so insanely handy when you want to either gank or want to cover your teammates. Rocket Grip your enemy bash 'em into the air, exhaust them and feed on their corpse like a boss (Blitzcrank is definately the boss).

Teleport is priceless for getting to where all the action happens. Teleport to a creep quite far back so they can not spot you, position yourself somewhere sneaky and do over 9k damage to them with your Grip and Fist, while you dance on their corpse.

Clairvoyance IS AWESOME! If you choose to go pubstomp this is a lovely spell. If you decide to go for alot of ganking clairvoyance is just crazy if you know where to use it. Golem, Lizard and Dragon can easily be warded. But early on when you do not want to spend to much money on wards this is a great option, not a must but a great option.

Other optionals are Ghost (if you want to run fast and look cool) and even Ignite if you are attending a game where you want to be a lonewolf going all solo and crazy.

SKILL SEQ: Start with one rank in Rocket Grip then leave it. Maximize Power Fist first then go Overdrive and of course get the ulti asap.

RUNE BUILD: This is just so very optional that I will choose to not experiment with this. But main goals is with this build to go for crit and damage, so that is what I would do.

ITEM: So why do I choose to get these items in this precise order?

Sapphire Crystal, health pot and mana pot first to get mana for a gank at level 2. I basically choose to go for a gank at level 2 due to the fact that if you let them push you have the tower and your Power Fist to keep them by the tower for quite some time. Level one gank can be risky but definately very profitable too, but make sure these hero's are relatively gankable, otherwise you can always just go for harass. I choose to save mana to gank at level 2, but that is just a personal opinion.

Quickly farm for a sheen to make your Power Fist more powerful and get boots as you go to base. Then my personal choice is to go for a B.F Sword to make Blitzcrank do a substantial amount of damage (if possible get either Swiftness or Mobility).

Now it is gang time and if you can pull basically any non-tank hero to you they will most certainly end up dead. GREAT SUCCESS! Farm/Gank your way if you're still havent won and get Trinity Force and Infite Edge (very rare that you will have time for this though).

This is no learn how to play Blitzcrank Guide, it is just a simple one-among-the-other-build, with my personal choices that sure has gotten me quite a few kills throughout history.
